I bought the app for the geofencing and it’s not as good as Life360. Only one of my 3 kids phones alerts when they cross a geofence. There’s no audible sound when this happens, and so I miss alerts. The geofencing on one of my other kids is all messed up, it tells me they are in places they haven’t even visited. The real-time location update is appalling, it can be 30mins+ out. There’s no one place to find all the alerts and they don’t all seem to be on there either. An “audio-famisafe” number keeps ringing and hanging up one of my kids phones and I still have not received a satisfactory reason as to why or how to stop it.The set-up is a faff, you have to download and install some kind of control mechanism, allow total access, etc., which is too big brother. When you add a geofence you have to add it to each individual account, when you have 3 kids and a parent to manage, that’s a lot!You can add another parent but they can only see your kids, you can’t see each other, and the kids can’t see the added parent. No good when one of your kids has anxiety and needs to check when you both are when they are having a difficult day.I still have Life360, to run the apps in parallel and compare them, before I shut it down completely, but I am not going to keep this app. Very disappointed, as I did my homework beforehand, read lots of reviews from different sources.Note: I have not used it to monitor / manage screen time usage or any of the other services it provides. My review is based on set-up and geofencing only.
Hi there, may I know your kid's device OS? Can you check if your kid's phone's GPS is on and restart your kid's phone to see if location data will update? We would like to help check the issue further, you can email us at customer_service@wondershare.com or submit feedback in the app. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
