Vooks: Read-Aloud Kids' Books
Educational, ad-free, animated
Free · In-App Purchases
For families who believe in the enduring magic of storytime. Vooks is the trusted space where books come to life—gently narrated, beautifully animated, thoughtfully paced, and always hand-crafted by humans, never AI—for calm, connection, and growth.
TWO APPS, ONE GREAT PRICE
Your Vooks subscription gives you two great apps for the price of one: Vooks and Vooks Creator, where kids can make their own digital books with text, images, drawings, and voice recordings—turning their love of stories into stories of their own.
NEW AUDIO LIBRARY
For the moments when your family wants stories without the screen, Vooks now includes Listen—a growing audio library for quiet time, bedtime, car rides, wind-downs, and all the little in-between moments. With beloved stories, music, a sleep timer, and even a toothbrush timer, Listen helps turn everyday routines into calmer, sweeter moments kids look forward to.
FOR PARENTS WHO WANT BETTER
Created for parents who value quality over chaos, Vooks helps children fall in love with stories the way you remember—through warmth, rhythm, and wonder. Whether it’s part of your bedtime routine, a quiet moment in the middle of a busy day, or a chance to create together, Vooks is the safe, ad-free choice for families who want technology to reflect their values—not fight them.
**Loved by over 1.6 million parents and teachers worldwide, Vooks keeps kids engaged in a way that feels meaningful, not mindless.**
THE BEST READ-ALOUD EXPERIENCE
Gentle animation engages without overstimulating. Perfectly paced narration feels like being read to by someone you love. Read-along text builds literacy naturally and joyfully. Stories build character, sparking imagination, empathy, and confidence.
Vooks is more than an app—it’s a way to preserve the ritual of reading together, even when life gets busy. With a growing library of handpicked titles, Vooks offers a calm, trusted corner of the digital world where stories nurture imagination, character, and connection.
A READING ROUTINE THEY’LL LOVE
Early reading ability is one of the strongest predictors of lifelong success—and nothing gets kids excited about reading like Vooks. It makes fitting in those 20 minutes a day easy and joyful. Watch your child’s vocabulary, language skills, and love of books grow with every story.
Explore hundreds of beautifully animated stories in English—with 100+ in Spanish—chosen to support emotional growth, teach meaningful lessons, and celebrate diverse voices and experiences.
Become the voice of your favorite stories with Storyteller. Record yourself reading aloud, adding a personal touch to storytime, then share your recordings with loved ones anywhere, on tablet, desktop, or laptop.
Create personalized playlists your little one will love. Handpick titles around favorite themes, learning moments, or routines, and share the magic of reading your way.
