Just garbage. The book works well. The concept is perfect. But the app is simply appalling. I feel like I have almost worn my finger out tapping on points on the map which do not work. I want to give my money to these sites - I’m sure these sites want my money. But this app is so bad it is literally preventing the connection between users and sites. Either bring back the book - or improve this app, at least to the point where it does not look, feel and act like it has been built by a team of five year olds. This app has denigrated a very good idea into a joke. How could you have released a version as poor as this that looks very much like a pre-pre-beta version. Come on Britstops, your reputation rests on an app that is dragging your name through the mire!

I have been a member of Brit Stops for 18 months and have eventually got around to using the App.Absolutely first class - easy to use and large number of participating hosts. Now on night 4 of my trip and every interaction and over-night experience has been enjoyable and hassle-free.

I have been a member of Brit Stops for 18 months and have eventually got around to using the App.Absolutely first class - easy to use and large number of participating hosts. Now on night 4 of my trip and every interaction and over-night experience has been enjoyable and hassle-free.

Britstops doesn’t stop

Never really used the service and was just curious. most stops appear to be just pubs, which often let you stay if you buy a meal. However, buyer beware of the autorenew con , which doesn’t stop, as Britstops keeps taking money even if you don’t use the app. the Cancel button is buried deep in the membership menu and doesn’t appear in the apple subscription tab on your phone like other services subscribed too. Worse still if you cancel a couple of days after the auto renew is dues you get another whole year of misery as they don’t off refunds. Very poor service. Avoid at all cost unless you want to give your money away for nothing!

I used to be able to do a vicinity search in relation to where I was. Now all I have is a map covered in orange pint glasses, with no indication on the as to where I am. Not without planning a route anyway.If I don't know the area I'm in, how can I plan a route. i.e We're stuck in a horrendous traffic jam on the M1, and can't see which of the orange pints would be beat for us to stop at.Also the app is restricted to one device only. So absolutely useless if my wife should need to travel alone at any time. Because the app is on my phone.Why is it that upgrades these days, are the complete opposite of an upgrade, and render a good app' completely useless?😡
