I have two sets of Apple AirPods as well as set of Powerbeats Pros. I want over ear hooks because I do a lot of gardening and a dog walking which involves bending over. The AirPods fall out of my ears frequently when bending over hence the preference for hooks. One of the really nice features of these earbuds is that nothing sticks into your ear. The speaker simply sits over your ear opening. Yes, external sound gets in a little more than with the AirPods, but it has never been a significant problem in my enjoyment of music. You just get used to the difference. The quality of the sound is fantastic my humble estimation, and the frequencies are individually adjustable in the equalizer function of the app. The case is well designed and works perfectly. The duration of music with one charge is excellent. I have never taken it to the dead battery level. The music sound is great, they’re super comfortable, and they are well manufactured as far as I can tell. I saw one complaint that they stopped working when sweaty, but I have never reached that state. Personally, I very highly recommend them.

These seem to be a hybrid, and they sound great. Yet I see on reddit the app seems completely different and there's no classic mode (bone conduction only) I can see on this app. I'd love such a feature. I like these and don't want to return them, these are a replacement but i'm not well off enough to just buy a second pair straight away that are bone conduction only, it'll take time. There's a reason I needed those and one of those was I could wear them in company and nobody would hear what I'm listening to, which i could keep low, and still chat with them and hear them, and i have headphones for music but don't want to wear them in company or wear large headphones all day. So a totally mixed review leaning more positive despite it may appear, because that aside I actually do love these for many situations. The bass is better than before the mini speakers, and i love these eq modes in this app despite one missing. The app is easy to use. I sent a feedback email but messed up my address, sorry. Had many different brands and styles of headphones over the years , but after many years of audio abuse whilst working in clubs and pubs both inside and outside, including bone conduction mics, I ended up with the good old fix for it, hearing aids. Although the ones I now have are good and I can stream media. I when using them so have no auditory spacial awareness, this can be very worrying and dangerous when around busy traffic areas. Then after many hours of research and reading, decided to take the plunge and purchase a set of Shokz Openswim pro. This gives the best of both worlds now for me as I can be aware of my surroundings and still listen to the pod casts that I love to. Another deciding factor for my choice is that they can be worn in all conditions and in my part of the world and my hobbies this is a total bonus. Loving the build quality alone with the audio quality make it the perfect product for me.

These are truly awesome and suit my running better than anything else I've tried. I really like having a neckband and comfortable over ear hooks to hold them in place in the toughest conditions. The battery life has alway been sufficient for all my runs and they always work flawlessly and sound great. This is my second pair (I had pros before I got Pro 2) as the first pair broke - the part where the neckband joins the ear units is vulnerable to rough use so you need to be careful putting on and taking off and keep them safe when not wearing them. I chose to upgrade to the Pro 2 because of the case as I think I can enjoy these for longer if they are protected in my bag when not in use. All in all I think they get top marks. The mics are great too voice calls are perfect.
