Note: Your organization must authorize access to the Workday mobile app. You will only have access to mobile features your organization has enabled, based on your role (not all mobile features may be available to you).

The Workday app has been an absolute joy. It’s relatively easy to use and when having to share a PC with numerous others it’s just perfect being able to enter my timesheet and request leave from my phone. All this from the comfort of my armchair. So far payroll has matched my every entry in my pay so no complaints there but I am very careful with my entries unlike some of my ham fisted colleagues who like to blame the system for errors and not their fat fingers!!
Ridiculous, hopeless system

In the era of AI and all the apps available to recognise regular patterns, and as a full time employee of the same company working regular hours every day, taking the same one hour lunch time off, workday is unable to recognise a regular shift pattern. For every morning and afternoon of every day of the week , one has to repeat the hours and it is so tedious. The system should allow the concept of repetition and regular hours an with a touch of a box should show the pattern and allow individual tweaks and changes if needed for that particular week. I absolutely hate this system with passion. I know for fact that am not the only one having talked about this ridiculous ,inefficient , and time consuming process with other full time colleagues. If a survey is conducted to check the feelings and feelings of full time employees, the results will be interesting and an eye opening to the employers.
Not user friendly and cannot access a lot

A lot of the learning and learning courses do not work or cannot be accessed at all. A lot of features and apps, eg with job applications, do not work or cannot be accessed on the app, so is not useful when you need it to work. Please make it so all learning courses can actually be selected, and where possible launched on devices, and also so that things like job applications can be completed in full (including updating your profile). Would be great if more important actions and functions were available on most of the apps within Workday to be honest, it seems to take you around in circles or it just can’t do what you really need it to do. I hope that your developers take this on board as it could be a very useful app if it worked better and didn’t waste time thinking you can do what you want but can’t.

This is by far the best work app I have ever used. I can view every team globally, my current and historic pay, request time-off, browse learning, provide feedback to anyone in my company, complete career check ins, performance reviews and much more. The app is responsive and feels just like other apps I use daily, unlike any other poor performing clunky mobile apps I have seen my employer roll out in the past which have never made the grade. Great job Workday!
