Where do I start? The flight was great, the service was incredible and the food was excellent. Honestly some of the best service I have had from an airline. This app made things soo much more easier on top. Rather than having to rush around the airport, the app allowed me to check in and be able to see which gate my transfer flight was at, all from the comfort of my home or whilst shopping in the duty free.The Qmiles scheme also works incredibly well. I was able to add my member card to Apple Wallet and was able to make some great purchases from Hamad international airport without having to spend a penny- and it covered around 120 riyals which works at about £30Overall highly impressed with how everything worked together and was a very enjoyable and smooth experience.
Could be great, was better but they broke it

I fly six-eight times a year from Uk to Asia with Qatar. That’s a lot of flights. An app that works and allows me to book flights, check for upgrades, change seats, check in etc would be really useful. This app could be great. It is well laid out and allows you to go to the right place quickly. But it doesn’t work. Qatar front desk IT is simply appalling. The Privilege club log on using finger prints originally didn’t work, then they fixed it and it worked wonderfully, then it broke but you could log on, now you can’t even see the box as the screen layout is corrupted. Looking upgrades... ha ha ha. The layout is awful and a straight view of the website but I don’t have screen real estate for this to work and I keep scrolling. And that’s when it doesn’t keep saying my booking isn’t eligible or that the is an error. Yes it is eligible and you’re right, the error is my continuing to use this app.In the air and on the ground at the airport Qatar is great. Their IT is awful. (One flight they said no availability for an upgrade. On the plane they had 26 empty seats in business class... but their flight forecasting tool was still saying they expected it to be full. I can’t believe they are making any money with such terrible yield management. My last flight was expensive, and half empty)
Amazing on board, but lagging technology and disappointing customer service

Definitely one of the best in terms of on board experience. Two stars due to: 1. Rude, incompetent and unprofessional Live Chat agents who are clearly not sourced or trained properly. 2. Buggy website and app. There seems to be an ongoing glitch preventing me from getting a mobile boarding pass. Their app usually either says go to the counter to check in or issues me a so called ‘confirmation pass’ which says go to the counter to get your formal boarding pass... Even worse, it doesn’t tell you the reason - is it because of the airport’s requirements? Or missing information on my end? Or something else? Nope, no useful info at all - just zip it and join the queue at the check-in counter I guess…. 🤷🏻♂️ The app also on a few occasions decided to remove my seat selection without even sending me a notification or email confirmation. Lucky I check all my travel bookings regularly and spotted it. Otherwise I could have ended up losing my preferred seats! And when I contacted Live Chat, the agent did not even apologise and had the ‘yep it happens so what?’ attitude all over…. 😮💨
Horrible experience just avoid

I recommend everyone to avoid Qatar airways as they are now no near the high standard they used to be! Delay in first flight and missed the connection flight to London and they offered me a flight 8 hours later with no hospitality and offering accommodation to make us comfortable whilst waiting there. I should had been in London at 10 am for an operation and unfortunately I missed my important appointment. The staff and crew are useless! No near European standards any longer! Horrible food and service. Messy none organised airport staff. I have disabilities which I requested wheelchair with assistant and no one was there to help and to assist. They moved me around with their buggy cars 20 times which I lost my bracelet .No offer of any kind for any compensation which cause us so much of damage. only one apology after I reached them out to complaint. Your simple apology wouldn’t make up for my lost property, delay and long waiting transit time which it damaged my physical and mental health as well as missing my important appointment in London. Very disappointed!
