I’m an amateur geologist who just likes to keep track of quakes and eruptions and was tiring on logging in and out of various other platforms. Stumbled across this app and paid the £6.99 for life time pro membership. Bargain! Great little app and very simple to filter and personalise. Some platforms cover some areas but not others, this one has a very wide coverage. I’m not in an active area myself but I imagine if you were and worried about resulting tsunamis, this would be incredibly useful as it pushes alerts if you want it to.

I downloaded this when I was in Morocco during the 6.9 earthquake in 2023, as I was worried about the aftershocks that night. But even beyond that night I’ve found it interesting how active the world is. One feature I would appreciate as someone who travels fairly frequently, is the ability for it to send critical alerts based on your current location. For example I’m travelling around SE Asia next month and would like it if I didn’t have to set up each country individually.

Having lived through a major earthquake over 10 years ago now - the aftermath of which was terrifying - having something like this application really is an asset. Set your own filters and be warned of events almost as soon as they occur. Preparedness is the key when living in any region of the world prone to major earthquakes. Definitely consider the Pro version: support the developers and unlock the full features. Well worth every penny.

Thank you for creating such a great app, I’m getting alerts to the earthquakes in Greece just a few minutes after they happen. Other apps were 30 minutes which would be too late to warn for a Tsunami. I’m fascinated by the worldwide data available but have been able to concentrate on my vicinity and set the alerts to my specific requirements. Highly recommend this app.
