Available to people aged 18 and over in Scotland, the service is designed to grow over time — supporting you to manage your health and social care in the way that suits you best. With MyCare.scot, you can quickly and safely view key details held by NHS Scotland, including: • Your Community Health Index (CHI) number • Some of the personal details stored by NHS Scotland, such as your home address • Your medication and allergy information • Your Covid and flu vaccination record since 2021 • Health and care services available near you Your information is protected using the same high‑level safeguards and security standards that NHS Scotland uses for all health and care information. The information presented to you is for informational purposes only and does not provide medical advice and so should not be relied upon for clinical decision making. You should always consult with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns about your health care or treatment. Please note that this app is not for use in emergencies. A Decent Start

As with all government apps it’s a little clunky to get set up as I didn’t have a ScotAccount to begin with. However, I’m in and found my vaccination records easily which I’ve wanted to get access to for some time. Repeat prescriptions are there too. One could argue it would be better to wait until more functionality was available but since the latest software development processes operate on a rapid development/deployment model it’s unsurprising the app is at the stage it’s at. Expecting more over the next year or two.

First of all the login. Clunky. Each time I Have had to login via mycare account and scotgov account even though it says they are linked. Have used the setting for biometric data to access but that doesn't work. Seem to have to go through this every time you logon which makes you disinclined to use it. Initial access has to as easy as banks apps to get buy in. Once you do log in information is v limited and of no practical use. A long way from being of any use.

Tried 3 times to take photo of my passport and then of my face but keeps saying name given is different from name on passport which it isn’t. Then got a message saying I could verify my ID a different way and when I click continue it says page is not working.

We've updated MyCare.scot to include even more of your health information. You can now view additional vaccination records including: • Shingles • Pneumococcal • Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) • MenB (Meningococcal B) As always, the information displayed reflects records held by NHS Scotland. Vaccinations received through private healthcare providers or outside Scotland will not appear in the app.
