Although a problem with my order being sent to a defaulted address even though I entered the address manually that I wanted it delivered to, the customer service once I’d noticed the error was exceptional! I spoke to 3 H&M colleagues over 3 days. Each time I called, I didn’t have to wait long to speak to someone and every time I did, the person on the other end of the phone was only too happy to help. I had to cancel the order as the delivery company was unable to divert my package but the refund was back in my account the same day. The issue with the defaulted address feature on the app was recognised as just that, I was informed that this would be raised with the relevant party and was given a 20% discount voucher for the inconvenience. Absolutely faultless customer service!
H&M has gone very downhill

I always used to have a good experience with H&M but the past few orders have gone wrong each time and their online team are most unhelpful. This has involved one of my orders going missing, another issue with H&M offering me In-Post Locker at online check out for an order and then them sending out Evri instead who couldn’t deliver it so I had to wait for it to be sent back to their warehouse and refund me which is very annoying. I tried another order with a different In-Post Locker location and they decided to deliver my order to my billing address..! I ordered something else recently to a relative’s address to avoid more delivery problems and after 20 days of waiting (despite my numerous chases and no updates or communication back), I found out H&M have requested Evri sends my order back to their warehouse. A previous return took them over three weeks to refund me, even though I had email proof they had received the return. All H&M do when I contact to complain is give discount vouchers but this isn’t really the point. They are holding on to hundreds of ££’s of my money whilst this is all happening and they tell me I have to spend my own time going through and re-ordering the missing deliveries, even though it is them who keep messing up. Some of these items are presents for people which is very frustrating when they don’t arrive, and to make matters worse, when I go to re-order, the items are sold out. H&M really are a terrible company and they don’t know what they are doing anymore. I feel I have been treated very badly. They say they have raised these issues but this has been happening for months. Do you think I have received any updates about why any of this has happened? No. I think I have come to the end of my relationship with H&M and would urge you all to do the same.
shopping with H&M

I have always been a loyal customer too this brand over many years including clothing my babies... then children and now young adults. This is my first experience purchasing online, which has been unsuccessful- what I mean by that is, the first time I tried too buy this item (which I love) after four days I was told my delivery had been cancelled. When tracking this I was told the size I wanted was no longer in stock. (🙁) it wasn’t when I selected it!We live in crazy times at the moment, this is just a small gift for a friend’s birthday. So I’m trying too order this item for the 2nd time as it says “few in stock” so I hope I receive it. Really hope the transaction is completed and the money doesn’t leave my account until I receive the item.. all a bit confusing.
What has happened here?

It’s been a little while since I last used the app, but I’m not sure what has happened on both the iPhone and iPad. Unless I’m mistaken the iPad version is now portrait only, which I can live with. But the navigation on both versions is an exercise in frustration. The iPad app seems to duplicate systems between the Shop & Menu tabs and while this would be vaguely acceptable, once I go into any product listings page, the whole thing permanently hangs. No ability to scroll down or navigate out. Just close and restart. The iPhone app while more fluid seems the opposite. Trying to search for clothing for my son, I couldn’t find a way to select gender so was bombarded with clothing for girls. So while selecting by age group was clear, my search and interest ended here. Visually it looks great, but usability is sadly in the toilet at the moment. Here’s hoping for a speedy return to the usual H&M standard.
Thanks for shopping at H&M! We regularly update our app to fix bugs, improve performance and add new features to help you find the fashion you like!
This release contains a fix that improve the app stability.
