My wife put me onto this brilliant and easy to use app, and it has revolutionised my life! No more worrying about silly little bits of paper, scanning them all together at the end of each month and sending them off in a separate email. This does everything in one place. Highly recommended if you are the sort of person that doesn’t have time to deal with your expenses. Alternatively, if you like spending a few hours, each month of your life worrying about and processing your expenses manually then please carry on!

Great App until ios26

I have used Smart Receipts for just under 2 years. It has always worked well for me until this week…… I’ve updated my phone to the latest iOS26 & noticed smart receipts has had an update in the last 24 hours. I’m trying to ‘share’ CSV & PDF via email / other format but it will not work. I can’t seem to access any app support so hoping someone can help me from here. Fingers crossed!

Been using this for several years now and it’s so easy to log receipts and run reports off at the end of the month. On two occasions I’ve asked for help in finding something and there support always comes back with the answer or solution. Couldn’t ask for better support 👍🏻

Despite having paid £70 for the pro version with cloud backups, this app has deleted receipt images, duplicated others. As I no longer have the physical receipts I can no longer claim these expenses back, so am out of pocket by around £300. The old version of the app was reliable, but version 5 is not. Their support team were initially helpful, but after I pointed out that I already had the correct configuration suggested by them, then pointed out the extent and seriousness of the issues, all I got back was a generic “thanks for the feedback” email.UPDATE: I got Apple to refund my £70.
