Can no longer use key files ..... FIXED

I’ve been using this quite happily on my iPad Pro 2018 and with iOS 12 I could copy/share the key file with KeePass touch. Now with iOS 13 it isn’t possible so I can’t use this on I iPhone 11 Pro and as I rotate key files every 3 months I can no longer use on the iPad. Would have given it 4 maybe 5 if it worked. Happy to change it if this is just down to user error but there is no real useful documentation.UPDATE*******************************or maybe lack of......***************There has now been at least three official releases since iOS 13 has been officially released and no fix yet to the use of keys. So maybe the devs of this app don’t consider security an issue but I have pushed the use of rotated keys as a prerequisite to my dev team. Maybe it is time to look for a new source or fork this and build a better solution. I know the devs have asked me to raise issues via their website but they don’t acknowledge when you when you do. I’m ready to move it zero stars if possible as it is now useless to my me and my team. Shame shame shame((((((((((((((((((((())))))))))))))))))))))))))))))As of the latest update (taken on 24 Oct 2019) this has finally been sorted and we can now copy key files to the app. Yea!!! Restored the missing stars. Still missing the star due to missing or unclear documentation

You know what’s wierd, this is the second password manager I have downloaded and although I’m not in the tech industry I am no Luddite but I can’t work out how to use these managers. There is no quick guide to read that I can see to show me how to use the app. Yes they keep your passwords in one place, great but how do I use it? How do I add them and how do I integrate this app to my daily browsing? Until these apps get more obvious there won’t be take up by non tech savvy users.

Do not update! All user defined fields are gone!!! (Fixed in version 1.13.2)

UPDATE: Version 1.13.2 fixed the issue of disappearing user defined fields. It seems that they were not removed from the database so all my data are now back. Very happy with developer’s swift response. I have up my review from 1 star to the 5 stars that this App truly worth. Very happy with developer’s swift response. I have up my review from 1 star to the 5 stars that this App truly worth. Original review below…Having used this app for years, I have a lot of user defined fields added to most entries to keep track of additional security data such as those annoying security questions and answers. Before any of the world’s mobile devices started getting clever with password storage and “keychains” etc, there was keypass(KeePass). I’m talking about on windows /PC, before iPhones. Then you had the issue of needing to access your PC passwords over on your phones/iPads, so used KeePass touch. It has proved excellent and I paid for the add free. To link it with Dropbox and use a keyfile is a bit tricky, but once you follow the instructions, it is set and forget and just works. Now in 2025, your iPhone is storing every-password and eg. Chrome browser will as well, you have passwords all over, but if you use Safari on phone and a Windows computer you will still need KeePass as a neutral storage. The £1.99 allows password autofill on iPhone /ipad without having to switch between and cut and paste. Set a strong master password and a keyfile and with Touch ID/facial Id you are sorted. Thanks developers for providing over the years, I’ve never had any issues.
