Findmykids is a family locator that helps you stay connected with your kid throughout the day. With the help of the app you can see your kid’s phone location and use helpful parental tools to support your family’s daily routine.
Install the Findmykids GPS locator on your phone, create a family circle, and get an invitation code. Then install Findmykids on your kid’s phone and enter the invitation code. Your devices will be connected in one family circle, and you will be able to see your kid’s location on the map and stay connected during the day. GPS location helps you find a phone wherever it may be. You can easily check the location of any family member using the GPS locator.

Use all the service features for free for 7 days after the first launch of the app. After the free period ends, only the online location feature will remain available. To access all features, you will need to purchase a plan.
The app cannot be installed secretly. It should only be used with your kid’s consent. Personal data is stored in strict accordance with applicable laws and GDPR policy. The location data of all family members is protected.
THE APP WILL REQUIRE ACCESS TO:

I got this app and got the premium version because unlike all the other apps this had the sound around feature. WRONG. IT DOES NOT. If you and your child have an iPhone then you cannot use the sound around or app statistics which is what seems to sell this app more so this is hugely misrepresented. App developers. You need to remove any mention of sound around or app stats from the whole add promotion and in the apple App Store as this is a huge misrepresentation and you could have legal issues if someone pays for a service you advertise that people get when they actually don’t get it at all. I will be looking for an alternative app as this is no better than using find my or WhatsApp now because it’s pretty useless. Not at all happy I thought this would be great as my son has got to an age now where he wants to start trying to go do little things by himself in preparation for starting school where he needs to go by himself. This app is pretty useless now.
Good but could be better

This has been a great app to alleviate worries with my son walking to secondary school alone. However, there are some things that could be improved for a better experience.1. I’ve paid for 12 months of use for the app - admittedly from a 50% offer, but still paid for. But most times when logging into the app, or occasionally a push notification comes through wanting me to pay more to upgrade - very annoying! I’ve paid, leave me alone until near renewal time. 2. Even though I’m with my son, say in the car going out somewhere, or we go go out together to walk the dog for instance, the app will repeatedly send me pings / push notifications to say he’s on the move. Surely there’s a way this can be setup to realise when the child is with one / both their parents without having to keep sending notifications - this gets quite annoying. 3. The tracker is meant to show movements in pretty much real time, but this isn’t always the case. There can be lags in the tracker showing his movements. Overall, it’s marginally better than just using Apple’s ‘Find My’ app as overall it tracks in real time better, just not all the time - and we’re in a good phone signal area. Just glad I didn’t pay the full £70 or so for the basic option and only pad 50%.

I use the free version and the sos feature is good from my child’s side but with mine I can only send one last signal to my child. I’mNot sure what will happen after I use that last one. The location is not that great at the moment he is with a friend 5 minutes away but it is still saying he is at home. Also once before my phone alerted me that my son was going out in 1am!! REALLY??? I done the sound check and he was indoors not out and he was sleeping over a friends who lives below my flat so I have no idea why the app was telling me he was out, it was really worrying for a few minutes but thank god that sound check helped me realised he was indoors asleep. That’s why I am giving 3 stars as I can see if his phone is on silent and how much percent his battery is. Only down thing is the limited amount of signal offered and location not accurate.
