4. Who cleans my items?
After our ihateironing drivers collect your items, we take them to one of our professional dry cleaner facilities in your local area. There, each item is inspected and weighed and you will receive an itemised invoice with the total cost. Your clothes are cleaned or repaired to perfection before being returned to you.
5. What is your turnaround time?
Our laundry and dry cleaning service can be turned around in 24 hours or less! However, bigger items such as bedding and duvets can take up to 48 hours. Alterations and repairs services will also require a longer processing time. Our team will be in touch every step of the way to let you know how long we need to process your items.
I have been using these guys pretty much since they started and I have to say I can’t fault them. They’ve always been on time for both collections and delivery’s, my cloths have always come back clean and they’ve even managed to get rid of the cat hair off some of my jumpers and coat. Trying to think of anything to critique but I actually can’t find anything. I suppose lower prices but that’s always something we will always want from every service we ever have 😂 but it’s actually cheaper for me to send my clothes to these guys than my local dry cleaner who can’t even guarantee same day or next day service. Especially as so many times I forget that I need something dry cleaned until the very last minute and they always manage to pull it off.

I was given a gift voucher for I Hate Ironing when my son was admitted to GOSH for a long stay. I have been so impressed that when the voucher ran out I carried on using them. I cannot fault the service, they call when they arrive and are happy to wait while I nip down from the ward to drop off or pick up my bag and everything is returned 24 hours later. It’s wonderful knowing that I don’t have to leave my son’s bedside to keep running backwards and forwards across the hospital to get our clothes clean so I can just focus on him. Thank you team for making a difficult time just a little bit easier.

Awful service from different angle : cleaning, customer communication, app. I gave them 3 different pairs of sneakers, ask to delivery in 4 days, they did not do anything. In 4 days when I reached out to then it turn out that all 3 pairs of shoes where at risk so they send me an email if I want to take this risk and did not do anything. I was not monitoring my email because before they contacted by SMS, they never followed up. Also cleaned same sneakers in different cleaning companies before, never had problems. They just do not want to take any responsibility. Previous time I ask them to repair skirt, they reached out to me by sms to check if price is ok. I said ok, and guess what? They did not do anything again. You should not trust this service, especially if something important coming and you need this thing to be cleaned and delivered on time. Their delivery is good, they can pick up on the same day. They should we been delivery company instead of cleaning.

To their credit I will start with the good. The app works, the prices are steep but it was an efficient service, someone collected the same day and I had the items delivered back pretty after a couple of days. The items sent off were clean when received back.Why they are not worth using and why I won't go back. One item I received back was incredibly damaged, all around the edges it was frayed and torn looking. I don't know what they had done, I can only assume they used equipment that was too rough.Initially my complaint on the app was ignored, only when they reached out for a marketing offer and I emailed back did the person emailing look into the complaint. They then quickly arranged a collection for 'inspection', so far so-so they could have been proactive on my original complaint but when I got through they were fairly quick to respond and action.Unfortunately I then received an email that essentially said, "we followed our procedures and therefore can take no responsibility for the damage". They then sent the item back and have mostly ignored my correspondence since or left long delays before responding. I cannot believe they consider their response an adequate resolution to the problem, I will never get the item back into a good condition but at the least I would expect them to apologise and offer some sort of refund or credit against future purchases. Nope, "they followed procedures" it must therefore be my fault?!There are some good features about the business but, as a service business, customer service and experience is weak. Therefore I have rated this a poor experience overall.
