Frequently Asked Questions
• How does Laundryheap work?
Simply select the required services and choose the dates for collection & delivery, leaving any additional instructions for the driver. Following this, we'll take care of everything else with the help of our partner cleaning facilities.
• What is the turnaround time?
For standard laundry and dry cleaning services, we have a monthly average of collecting and delivering within 24 hours. Note* duvet and bulky items may require additional time. We will always do our best to let you know in advance if you have included items that will require a longer processing time, or if there are any delivery changes to your order.
• Where do you clean my clothes?
After your items are collected by our driver, they are taken to one of our local partner facilities. Each order is processed separately - Laundry orders are weighed and cleaned, while all other services are individually itemized and processed.
• Can I provide my own detergent?
At this time, we do not offer the option for customers to provide their own laundry detergent, but please let us know if you are allergic to a certain type so we can make sure to avoid it.
• Do you wash my clothes with other people's clothes?
Absolutely not. Each order is washed separately so no need to worry about that. Your clothes are safe with us!
I recently started using Laundry heap for my Bulky laundry needs, and I have been thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The convenience of having my laundry picked up and delivered right to my doorstep is unmatched. Scheduling a pickup is easy and flexible, fitting perfectly into my busy lifestyle. The quality of the cleaning is excellent; my Duvets come back smelling fresh, clean and in great condition every time. I appreciate the attention to detail, from handling delicate fabrics to removing stubborn stains. The turnaround time is quick, and the communication throughout the process keeps me informed every step of the way. The delivery personnel are always punctual, professional, and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the level of service provided. I highly recommend Laundry to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality laundry service that offers the ultimate convenience.

The operations are terrible
Annmariexo
The idea and theory behind this is great however their operations fail every single time. I had issues with my first order, supposed to be collected between 4pm - 7pm however he didn’t show up till 9:40pm. I still continued to use the service and scheduled another collection for 2 weeks later however this one has failed as well. The second collection the delivery driver contacted me and asked if it was accessible which it completely is as it’s the same location as the first collection, they picked it up with no problem at all with accessing its a Main Street in Dublin every car, bike and pedestrian can access and even park. However the delivery driver the second time blatantly didn’t believe me on the phone, I tried giving her directions but she just said ok and hung up. 30 minutes later I got an email saying they tried calling but couldn’t get through so she left it, nobody called, text or live chatted me to tell me she was outside the office I was sitting in. I rescheduled for the next day from 12-2, checked the app it was all confirmed at 1pm checked the status of the driver and it had been changed from 2pm - 4pm without any notification. I’m now currently still trying to get an answer about my collection, they’ve apologized but still haven’t given me an answer I’ve been waiting nearly an hour and my collection has been sat in my office for 2 days.My suggestion is don’t use cars, use a motorbike with a box attached for collections, quicker easier and can access more areas. Don’t do collections or pick ups during 4pm - 6pm it’s prime time rush hour in Dublin city center it will always fail to be on time.

DO NOT USE!

Never reviewed an app before, but these guys are so poor I felt moved to warn others. Full details below, but in short they added stains, were unhelpful when we raised it with them, lost track of our clothes, and when we eventually got the items back two suits were ruined permanently. We'd used them before and found the service fine, if a bit bad at communication. But this time when the clothes came back a whole bunch of them appeared to have missed the wash altogether, and two suits had weird chemical marks that weren't there before. When we raised it they were dismissive, saying we should have requested a higher temp wash... but our clothes had crumbs still on them, they clearly hadn't been in a wash at all. They didn't comment on the suit. They offered to wash them again with our next load, but since we were only using them till our own machine was repaired this wasn't helpful, and still didn't address the suit. It was only when I put a critical comment here that they offered to collect all the garments and try again (on the condition that I remove my feedback, which I did). The guy who came to collect it had been given contradictory instructions, and we stood on the doorway together for half an hour trying to work out what his boss was talking about. His boss wouldn't answer the phone but sent texts. The clothes are supposed to be returned next day, but 3 days later when we chased them it was obvious they didn't know where they were. Finally, 3 further days later, we got the clothes back. The suits still have the marks on and it's clear they won't come off. Some of the other clothes are a bit better, but still not clean. Just not good enough by any standard. DO NOT USE.
Be very careful and read through pricing

These guys are trying to catch you out. Before using you must study pricing and then leave in depth notes, or else they’ll assume you’re a millionaire and want you shorts dry cleaned, pressed and folded and tied in a bow. I requested laundry and ironing (only for shirts and trousers) and they bill me £120+. Itemising and charging me for a pair of shorts, some very cheap work blouses and skirts my girlfriend likely spent less on than Laundry Heap charged. They also define a ‘shirt’ as being any item of clothing that you put on your torso, so that could be sweatshirts, t-shirts etc. They even decided to charge me extra for jumpers, even though I wanted them simply washed. I wanted one shirt ironed and 6 trousers. Plus a general laundry wash. That should have come to less than £30. It’s probably a 1 hour job maximum. In India I could get this job done for under £2, and they would iron the wrinkles out of my bloody underwear. Laundry Heap have the audacity to charge £120+... that’s equivalent to the price of a second hand washer and dryer. And they think that by being smartarses and itemising everything, that customers will just accept. This goes against trading standards, is misleading and has likely happened to thousands of people. A disgrace.
