Brilliant cleaners and service
Cleaners are of very high quality and consistently arrive on time. They are friendly, efficient and effective. The app is super easy to use and intuitive, and helps me deal with any problems I might have. Would highly recommend using Housekeep - I’ve been pulling my hair out looking for a good, consistent cleaner for years and this has finally solved me issue!
Cleaners don’t show
I have used this app twice now to try and book a housekeeper for a one off clean. I get assigned a housekeeper and given a hour arrival slot. The first one I was assigned I heard nothing from them and contacted customer services who told me that they were having trouble finding my address and were outside Tesco - I informed them that it was hard to believe they had been stood outside Tesco for an hour and a half and hadn’t tried to contact me. The booking was cancelled and I rebooked. Again I was given a one hour arrival and I made sure to message the housekeeper assigned to let me know if there were any issues with finding the property. I messaged again as they had not arrived and they informed me that they would be 40 minutes late, even at the new time they still had not arrived. Completely pointless app if the housekeepers do not arrive!
Be really careful - scammy business practices
I had to pay three awful cleaners before being called personally by staff and promised a decent one. Yes, I eventually got a decent cleaner but not before having to pay 70+£ for nothing.
Additionally, I tried the in app traders - Stay away from this !!
Big scam. I asked for someone to come and fix my Washing machine. The man came for 5mins and I was charged 120£.
The trader told me he’s come back on Monday to finish the job. Monday comes no news. I reach out to the company and they send me over a
450£ bill to repair my washing machine.
The issue is the following - the hose needs replacing.
The company sends me an invoice include a hose / a pump / two engineers…
At this point I point out to them it would be cheaper to get a new machine than work with them.
And then I realized I’ve just been scammed for 120£. Since I can’t go ahead with their service due to their unreasonable total - I’m stuck having paid money for nothing and they’ve made their easiest money.
Results: my washing machine is still broken and I have 120£ less in my pocket.
Stay away from this app.
