No more waiting days for an appointment! At first I was a little sceptical about an app that could send someone to my home to carry out a massage! I’m so so so glad that I went ahead and booked my first massage! It was everything I could have wanted! The massage was incredible and the therapist was professional, relaxed and there was no awkwardness! I am now regularly booking massages and trying different styles the Neom Curates is a must! The oil that was used was amazing! I was glowing for days! Incredible app, fantastic people and dreamy massages what’s not to like! ❤️❤️😍
Terrible, drawn out booking experience

The app wouldn’t make my booking rejecting 3 different cards from 2 different banks and a 4th attempt with PayPal, every time saying there was an error and I should call my bank- I did, there was nothing wrong with my cards, the issue was their side. I also tried the website on mobile and desktop- same issue. I tried to call at 8am when it said the phone lines opened, they weren’t, and when I eventually did speak with someone around 9 it took them all day to sort my booking which was for that evening just a couple hours after they managed to get their own website to accept payment. They were apologetic but no “gesture of good will” offered for massive inconvenience of having to talk to them on the phone 4 times that day. To be honest, if it had not been an urgent sports massage treatment I was needing and just a relaxing treat I would not have persisted.

I used to rely on Urban all the time — last-minute wellness services at home fit perfectly with my lifestyle. But now, everything has changed. The quality of service has dropped, prices are still high, and it’s obvious they’ve lost a lot of customers. Now, many professionals just use the app to get clients’ contact info and offer cheaper deals off-platform. Urban does nothing about it.My last booking was basically theft. I scheduled a manicure (same neighborhood as always), and the practitioner decided not to show up. She never canceled — just marked the appointment as completed and Urban charged me anyway. No refund, no apology, no accountability.To make things worse, the app blocks you from submitting reviews unless you give 5 stars. That’s right: anything under 5 stars gets filtered out. This is manipulative, dishonest, and a complete disrespect to paying users.Urban is clearly struggling, and instead of fixing things, they’re covering it up. I strongly advise others to avoid this app until serious changes are made.

Got too big and greedy - now poor service

When Urban Massage was still fairly small it was a great little app. They had a handful of things to choose from and any time you run into a technical hitch, somebody was on it straight away. Now it’s got big and greedy and corporate. There are bugs in the login system. You can no longer speak to a friendly voice, but have to jump through hoops with an awful, robotic chat, or link after link after link after link of FAQ, oh and they don’t bother replying to emails anymore. Too much money, too high growth ambitions.I’ve decided to stick to supporting local independents in my neighbourhood. Sometimes tech does ruin it for you.
