Having been PO customer for quite a few years I downloaded the app in good faith only to find it has unresolved problems. Trawled through the many app reviews for help. Tried the help side of JAJA and was asked to add a zero to my phone number, guess what that doesn’t work either. Called customer services who confirmed that all the information I was inputting was correct. As my devices are all run by IOS they suggested trying to register using a windows based device which I have subsequently done and lo and behold still unable to register. Again called customer services and advised them that I had used both an IOS and windows device only to be told now that they are aware of the problems a multitude of people are having trying to register and they are working very hard to fix it. Apparently I will be notified by txt/email when it’s fixed looking forward to this event.
Further to my original:
I’ve downloaded latest version of the JAJA app, every time I try to register it says that the information that I have entered is incorrect. I have spoken to customer services six times now and they have confirmed EVERY time that the information that I have inputted is correct. I have tried this on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook and a non IOS laptop to no avail. What’s the problem.
How about a developer response.
I’m an existing post office credit card holder and I’ve had to download this app. Unfortunately it’s telling me I don’t know my details (date of birth my name etc) to address the situation there is a long wait on the phone (I gave up after a shave and shower and I was still listening to some terrible music afterwards). So as to date I can’t register for the app I cannot get back on to my post office app as it’s directing me to Jaja. I did send an email after trawling through google to find it and I’m still waiting for a reply. Terrible customer service very disgraceful. Apparently I got through to an automatic voice telling me my balance was x amount. The card is fully paid up so I’m not in debt to them so Jaja pull your finger out and get this disgraceful situation sorted. I still can’t access the app. Since I’ve been holding on the phone I went for a long walk and had evening tea. Disgraceful disgraceful disgraceful. The Post Office and Jaja should be banned by the financial service ombudsman. The reason I gave a star to this app is because it wouldn’t allow me to give no stars.
Update on my First Review
Ok, so this is my second review. Like many others I gave one star after the initial move over on the 4th Oct. App didn’t work, customer service non existent and service terrible. It’s now 2 weeks in and I finally had a reply to my email for help (10 days after sending it). My App now works, I can now access all my account details and I have to say I am impressed with the new layout on the App. The options given are much much better than the old Post Office App, which was pretty basic. This one is much more detailed and now that it works and I’ve taken time to calm down!, I am prepared to stick with JAJA and not just cancel everything which was becoming a serious consideration. JAJA could have done better with communication and if they knew these problems were coming a bit of warning would have prevented them a lot of negative flack! Ps: Can we now have facial recognition for the App please!
