Given that less than 100 years ago people pretty much died with a diabetes diagnosis - to this current day where there has been so much developed to help; maybe I have low expectations or maybe I am just so thankful for apps such as this where I can have a degree of peace of mind knowing my child’s levels are within a certain ballpark. An alarm tells me if going low or high (current app allows for changes to where you want level set for alarm as well as off - helpful when sharing care routine)
Having gone from manual checks at a minimum of 5 times a day - the sensor with this app has been a complete life changer for my son and for us, his family, who would constantly be checking in with him as he had no hypo indicators and would often be relying on us or friends/teachers noticing his lip colour change as he descended into hypo and then find himself in great difficulty to the point he could hardly carry out checks/injections to now where he can have warning set and take action where needed and all on his phone.
So dear Developers - thank you, thank you, thank you. You’ve helped more than you can really ever know and the ripple effect from just one of the lives you’ve helped by creating this kind of functionality is so far reaching.

We’ve had this app to help us monitor my sons readings from his Libre. It’s been fantastic while he’s been at school to enable us to keep an eye on. I’m less concerned about the graphs that others are requesting as his Libre App gives us that.

With the new Libre 2 it automatically pings us a notification if he’s high or low, which is fantastic. The one thing the developers could do to help us have the first decent nights sleep in months and give us the option to make those notifications or alerts LOUD so they wake us up. Currently we set alarms 2/3 times during the night. The Libre alarms aren’t loud enough to wake up my son.

I know the amazing developers read these comments and I really hope something is in the pipeline soon! Love you guys :)

Thanks for the idea - we are continuing to evolve the app and its features.

Wife got this to monitor diabetes (type 2) and is purchasing herself as NHS doesn’t cover type 2 even as she now has to use insulin pen.. this is a brilliant bit of kit that links to an app on phone for monitoring sugar levels throughout its life of 2 weeks per unit. The app is shareable so her healthcare professional gets her readings and I can also get her readings.. at least I can keep an eye on her and know instantly if she peaks or dips via an alarm that can be set to variable points. I now know how to treat her correctly if need be without guessing. She has also shared with her line manager and team at work to enable fast response if required. Much easier than standard test kits and instant confirmation.
