Glitches and weird controls
I wrote a review a while ago about how the tap to walk was really bad and the fact we only get a demo instead of episode 1 free. I’ve now purchased all the episodes because when I was playing the demo the game ran really smoothly on my iPhone XR. But there are screen glitches when you’re playing the game, such as the background graphics jumping around a bit and at one point chloe was talking with David in episode 1 and David’s chin was moving up and down as he was talking but his mouth wasn’t moving. It was very entertaining to watch! But obviously the game shouldn’t be doing this. I would say to people that if you’re going to buy the game, that you should be aware that it doesn’t run as great as the first game. I’m able to look past these glitches etc but I know some people can’t. But I do love the game just wish it was developed better
Before the storm
I only downloaded it onto my iPad because I thoroughly enjoyed the first one. The controls are awful. Need the joystick option like in the other game as these controls are hard to use. Also so far the background is too pixelated in places and David’s mouth needs to be fixed when he talks- not lined up properly- looks like he’s chewing tobacco. I payed the full cost for all the chapters and that is the only reason I am keeping it, otherwise I would have deleted it. Quality wise although the other game is sharper with graphics, I can live with it. Just would like the joystick controls so please can you update the game with these added.
Always online required and only one control way
Mobile gaming is pointless, okay, however it can be acceptable for commuting and those times one cannot use a proper gaming platform however the game fails at it.... it requires always to be online which defeats the purpose if playing when you are underground, during the gameplay the games check for connection and if none it crashes and close down, really??? The game is great as the first was, have both on PC however controls in this one take a bit to get used too, not necessarily the worse however a joystick type as option would have been good - both works in different circumstances.
