Loop makes setting timers easier, faster and more beautiful. Start multiple (interval, Tabata, and cooking) timers, create presets, import your own sounds and so much more!
- Easy Start:
The start screen shows the most recently started timers and your favorites. One tap is enough to start a timer. You can also create a new quick timer with natural text input: Simply type something like "1h Work, 30m Break" to create a timer with two intervals. Any number of timers can be started in parallel. The first timers will be displayed as nested rings.
- Automatic Reset:
After a timer expires, the app plays a sound and the timer automatically resets, so you can start it again immediately. Alternatively, you can configure a timer to play the sound like an alarm until you disable it. Loop supports AlarmKit so the alarm is also shown on your Apple Watch (requires at least iOS or iPadOS 26).
- Presets:
You can save your favorite timers as presets, which can be started with a tap. You can use text or an icon for your presets, and also change the color as you like. You can create multiple categories for your presets, with each category able to customize the app’s default settings.
- Interval Timers:
You can create interval timers and save them as Presets. The app plays a sound for each elapsed interval and displays it as a small dash on the ring. Additionally, you can name each of them, select repetitions for the intervals, or make the timer repeat automatically.
- Choose Sounds:
In addition to many included sounds, you can also import your own sound files from the Files app. Start, Finish, Reset, Interval, and Background sound can be selected separately.
- Meditation Sounds:
You can activate a background sound such as ocean waves or white noise in the settings, which will then be played when a timer is running. It is also possible to switch off the screen in order to concentrate fully on your meditation.
- iCloud Sync:
Your timers, settings, and sounds sync with your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac.
- Push Notifications & Live Activities:
Loop will send you a push notification when the app is closed if a timer or interval has expired. The sounds selected in the app will also be used for the notification. In addition, a live activity is displayed when timers are running.
- And More:
Custom app icons, Apple Watch integration, HealthKit support, configure when the screen should stay awake, and countless further options.

It produces a faint but unpleasant clicking sound after the first alert. I would also like to be able to click and drag the timer forward and back. The next/previous timer buttons should also be shown, rather than hidden, in my opinion. It could be a great app, but need a few tweaks please!
Developer Response
Hi there, thanks for your message. Could you please send me a message with more details about the clicking issue and the recommended features? I’d love to investigate and help to resolve this issue and feature requests.
Nice design, but a user cannot edit the loops!
DrSaver23
I give congrats to the developer, I think this application has a nice design, user interface in general terms, I like that I can choose the colors and the sounds. Nevertheless, a big drawback is that the user cannot seem to edit the existing loops. Please fix that and way more people will start using this.
Developer Response
Hi there, thanks for your feedback. Sadly, I’m not sure what your issue is exactly. Could you please send me an email explaining what you mean with the inability of editing existing loops? Timers that are already running can of course be paused, edited and more. Thank you!
Looks promising, but …

I’m slightly surprised that this has got into the App Store in its current state. Menus to select timers are truncated so as to be unreadable - which just makes the app seem unfinished, and pretty much impossible to use. And the app makes an irritating chiming sound for no apparent reason while trying to set up a timer.
Developer Response
Hi there, can you please tell me which menus are truncated? Please write me an email, I’d love to fix this issue. Thanks!Regarding the chime sound - this can be disabled in Settings > Sounds > Start Sound.
Unnecessarily Complicated, no pause
smallfurrything
The app is pretty and I’m sure there are lots of options but it’s far too complicated to learn and there’s no way to pause timers. A case of over-engineering.
Developer Response
Hi, Loop 2 simplifies a lot of things. If you want, you can check out the latest update. Pause is also available now.
This version fixes an issue that could cause custom sound files to disappear or fail to play in the background.
