Few problems

All for going digital. Often shop at Morrison’s and this app was great I also signed up for the NHS club.
So done a shop a couple of days ago and went to self checkout till. Clicked the Morrison’s card IN THE “payment’ menu and it didn’t recognise when I scanned it. After a bit of a play myself and a store colleague managed to get it to scan in the product scan section as you would a pint of milk for example. Well the 10% NHS discount didn’t work but wasn’t saving my mortgage cost so wasn’t too worried. The card didn’t show on the receipt and it hasn’t registered on the transactions area of the app either. I have checked all my in app details are correct, and can’t figure out why this app does not work or why the staff are not too familiar with it either. Back to the manual hand over the store card procedure until Morrison’s fix the issues. Good idea poorly executed.

Disappointed with the new alleged savings!

Not really happy with the change my offers are for stuff I don’t buy or use which is not in any way personalised for me! I have two offers this time one for £25 save on an annual pass and one for cherry tomatoes wow thanks for that I don’t use online enough and spend £100 to £150 a week in store and that’s the best I can get in savings that’s if I remember to activate them! Sorely disappointed the points scheme and savings made with points made it worthwhile since I used the petrol station aswell to help the savings. I’m afraid I will be saving more money by shopping elsewhere now which is a shame because I’ve always favoured Morrison’s. I actually work for another big supermarket but still saved more at Morrison’s in the past than the 10% offered on my staff discount looks like I’ll be spending my money at work from now on.

My review

I find the offer system not as good as the points one so far the discounts I have been offered are very poor .I do shopping for several older people in our community but spend far more on my own personal shopping and my offers have been on 2pint milks which I buy 2 for my 92 year old lady yet I buy 5 or 6 4 pints bottles for my family and there is no discount on them I have had ice cream (which I buy very seldom) and strawberries but only certain size not the one I usually buy ..The club offers doesn’t include me in any of them so nothing there !! So in a nut shell I feel the new system doesn’t offer me anything worth while whereas with points I could get a £5 voucher with 5000 points . I think Morrison’s are charging more and giving nothing back to loyal customers.
