If you have an electric vehicle on the Scheme you can use Motability Go Charge to find chargepoints, manage your charging, and pay with one tap and one app.
No more pre-authorisations and app downloads – just use the Go Charge app or Go Charge card we send you when you register.
Go Charge includes 23,000 chargepoints across the UK from 20+ chargepoint operators including Osprey, Ionity, Shell Recharge, Mer, ESB and Fastnet, Source London, ChargePlace Scotland and more.

Easy to charge on the go
I’ve had the Motability Go Charge card now for a few months and I’ve found it very convenient to use when I have charge on the go. There are times when I’ve forgotten to charge at home and as the Go Charge card work on most charging stations I don’t need to worry.

No good fixed prices ignoring competition low prices
This card in our local area does not pick up anything below 86p per kilowatt hour unless you drop down to the slower charges and it still doesn’t pick them up This also does not pick up the BP systems and Motability pay for a subscription for you to use and it does not pick up other charges in your area so currently we have two charges at 86p per kilowatt hour. This is not a economically feasible and cost 68 kilowatt hour size battery a lot of money, It is cheaper to run diesel and petrol. And some charges now are using 90 and a pound so either this card is limited to the people they’ve signed up with or at least price fixing but either way it’s cheaper not to use the card that’s the bottom line and yes, I have passed this onto Motability because charging the disabled a higher price is not acceptable when there is lowest prices available in the area and sometimes free it’s not right

The tariffs in the Go Charge App are the same as if you are paying with your debit card. We do not charge any premium for using the service. Makes charging much easier
Using motability go charge has made charging my car when out and about 100x easier! All you need to do is find a charger that supports the motability go charge scheme which can be done via the app then follow charger instructions when you’re there. The app will process all payments for you and will not hold any money in advance as most chargers typically do. You will be able to view past charges within the app too so you know how much you’ve spent and the duration of the charge. I would recommend this to all motability users who own an electric vehicle!
