Many missed opportunities

If I knew how, I would create my own Crohn’s disease app.
You can log your bowel motions, but they are not saved, so you can’t do it long term.
You can’t log your food, and none of my local hospitals are signed up to it so I can’t contact my medical team through it. The mood tracker is good but I can think of a million ways it could be improved to be more useful for IBD sufferers.

Slow and unresponsive

Since last week the app has become slow and unresponsive. When you click to add a bowl movement sometimes doesn’t close and multiple clicks add more than one entry. When you click on stats option check entries your greeted by a long wait / donut timer. App constantly logs you out. You’ve taken an app that was just working ok tweaked it and made it useless, clearly zero user testing before implementation

Developer Response ,

Could be more useful

I was on the crohn’s and colitis website and it mentioned this. I was really wanting something to track my food diary and symptoms and show any links so I can manage my symptoms and flares, but this isn’t it. You record stool samples and it reminds you of appointments and that’s about it, apart from some videos which are fairly standard.

It’s very clearly to collect data which is fine and I’m happy to help but I just don’t see what someone with IBD gets from it if they remember their meds and appointments.

It’s a shame it’s such a missed tool for sufferers

Developer Response ,

Hi, thank you for your feedback, we appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us. Although we do not offer a food diary at the moment, we do have a notes section that you can use to log any additional information that you want to track on a specific day. Our video library is constantly expanding as we continue to update and develop the app, we hope that the content we continue to share can be helpful for you. We also offer courses in the paid-version of the app that may be of use to you - if you have not used your free trial period yet, we suggest you try it out so that you can see what our courses offer! This app is designed to help you live a happier and healthier life and we appreciate the feedback as it does help us develop the app to meet your needs. Our stool tracker was developed and released as a result of feedback like yours! If you have any more feedback or questions, please feel free to contact us at info@ampersandhealth.co.uk and we would be happy to chat further with you. Sincerely, Ampersand Health Support Team
