Returning customer

I moved property and wanted to continue with adt although I was out of contract adt said they wanted £86 up front then the monitoring would be half price for 6 months then go back up to £37 per month . I asked if they could do a better deal seeing that I have been with them since 2008 they said no. I feel very disappointed with adt as I would have thought they wanted me to continue being a valued customer.

Do not use! Frustrating and confusing.

The app is a waste of time. You think you have booked an inspection but the app does not confirm the booking and lists the status as “pending” even if the booking is firm. Equally, when you try to book, rather than tell you what is available, you have to figure out that if you can press the dot on the time slot then it’s available and if you cannot then it is not. Some simple tips: please just show what slots are available for me to book; once a slot is booked, list the status as “booked” and not “pending”; please send a confirmation email confirming the booking and present a link in the email for me to cancel or change the booking.

Appointment Booking Impossible

I get a letter asking me to book an inspection appointment and there is no contact number on the letter, you are directed to the app which is absolutely fine if it actually worked. I had the same issue last time I tried to do this.

Apart from not being able to select and book an appointment, when you do eventually find a ‘slot’ the design is appalling- you have to go through every date to find possible slots. A developer clearly wanted to use the calendar applet but why not just present a list of available dates and slots? Calendar is greyed out after about six weeks anyway, so it would not be a long list.

This forced me to have to call ADT which I didn’t want to do and spoke to a disinterested agent who didn’t want to speak to me either! Fortunately I had the number saved on my phone.

Please just make your design work and more importantly usable!
