NatWest Tap to Pay on iPhone enables Tyl customers to accept all types of contactless card payments directly on their NFC-enabled (Near field communication) iPhones without the need for any additional physical hardware - no card readers, no dongles or plug-in gizmos. Its easy, secure and private.
With your iPhone, connected to your Tyl by NatWest account, your business is all set to start taking contactless payments. You can welcome debit and credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and other digital wallets – just like a regular card machine, but without the expense.
No extra tech to juggle, no card reader hire fees to cough up, just your phone and your customers making happy contactless sales. Chip & PIN sales, too.

Could be fantastic
The process and setup is very easy. Also not many things in the app to be confused, so it’s good in the beginning. Appreciate that getting all the payments in the next working day by the 6am unlike other competitors at the eod.
When it comes to taking the payments, it frustrates a lot. I am using it to take payments for my taxi. When initiating the payment it taking lot of time which frustrates both passenger and me. After taking the payment also, it’s taking lot longer to check whether it succeeded or not. It is really handy to take payments in the mobile only but things like this can easily be fixed by the team.
Been using this since last 6 months, it’s hard to choose other provider.
Please fix.

Not bad
Sometimes takes a while from entering the amount to charge customer to actually being ready to take payment. Leads to an awkward wait while the app catches up

Simple and clear
The Tyl/NatWest tap to pay app is simple and easy to use. Installation and set up processes are clear and take very little time.
It’s perfect if you only sell one or two items at the time as at the moment it is only possible to put in the final sun you charge the customer.
Also not possible to add description of what you sold. Hope the app developed further with including description line and possibility to add items individually to sum up the amount.
