Description
NETWORK PLAYER CONTROLLER is designed to control Yamaha network player which is communicated via a LAN cable by using iPhone/iPod touch/iPad. It provides you easy and comfortable operations with iPhone/iPod touch/iPad.
(1) Playback/control Network Player in line with DLNA.
(2) When the internet radio is selected from this application while Network Player is connected to the internet environment, it plays on Network Player.
(3) Check/change the configurations of Network Player.
(4) Music Play feature allows you to stream music tracks directly from your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad to Network Player.
(5) This application is exclusively designed for Network Player. Refer to the official website regarding supported formats and operation verification of peripheral devices.

Needs updating so you can fully customise the features
App works well but it would be good if you could rename the inputs specifically to what you have them connected to.
Being able to add other third party dlna devices into the menu screen or to spread music across multiple dlna music devices would be a brilliant feature.
Basic but missing some key functions
No help or instructions or annotation. No volume control. The power button on off function is hit and miss. And no search function for internet stations, just categories and genres to scroll through some long lists of stations. A few things missing to make this a good feature, which really is a set back when compared to other devices I’ve tried such as Sonos etc. I would have at least liked to have volume control and search, the power button I care less about but it’s a nuisance sometimes works sometimes doesn’t. Using iPhone 7 and latest iOS version and latest app version.
A help menu with support wouldn’t go amiss here Yamaha!
Great app
Pretty good app. Please put A/B selector on the app. That’s all it’s missing. I would’ve given stars if it had this feature.
