The Smart Pianist is a special app that provides a variety of music-related functionality when connected to a compatible instrument. ■Features 1. Easy Voice selection and Easy settings In addition to selecting piano voices, you can use Smart Pianist to adjust parameters such as reverberation and other factors that affect the sound of the piano. 2. Backing band accompaniment that you can sing along with (CSP Series only) Enjoy accompaniment from a dynamic backing band, even when you’re playing by yourself. 3. A variety of piano lesson pieces You can play back song data such as Preset songs and commercially available songs. 4. Play your favorite songs right away with the “Audio To Score” function (CSP Series only) Smart Pianist features an ""Audio To Score"" function that automatically creates a piano accompaniment score from songs on your smart device, allowing you to enjoy playing along with your favorite tunes. 5. Play your favorite songs right away with chord progression *If you are using iPad pro 12.9 inch 3rd generation or iPad pro 11 inch, please use Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter or Apple USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter.

The Smart Pianist is really good app, the only cons is the fact that if you leave the application it does not stay connected in the background. When connected with WiFi to a piano is reconnects constantly , when we navigate to other places in the app or outside it. I still give it 5 stars because it is really an amazing experience to enjoy the Piano, with the demos songs, the bonus music. Well designed and easy to navigate.

The app is good, we all need it for a cvp150 etc or for that range…..but they never did the features that are needed…when playing a song on a Cavinova you setup instruments and one touch changes between playing one set to another…..your playing piano and strings and 1 touch your then playing the brass section………also they haven’t really bothered with recording……why not let me edit and record easier on different midi channels……now the worse bad thing is ,down load a midi song and the follow the lights can only show you 1 midi channel, you can’t change, so most of the time you can only learn one part and most people put the wrong or not a main part of the song on the only part the app can show you.Basic errors…….could easily be a perfect app, the pianos can do it all, it’s the programming…..wish I could go back to a clavinova…

This app is a huge disappointment from an accessibility standpoint. I am completely blind and rely entirely on Apple’s VoiceOver to use iOS apps. Unfortunately, this app is poorly labeled, difficult to navigate, and often unusable with a screen reader. Basic controls are unclear or inaccessible, making core functionality frustrating or impossible to reach.Accessibility is not a niche feature. Blind and visually impaired users also want to learn and enjoy music, including the piano. When accessibility is ignored, an entire group of users is excluded.This is not a minor issue. Proper VoiceOver labeling and navigation are fundamental requirements on Apple platforms. I strongly urge the developers to address these problems and bring the app in line with Apple’s accessibility guidelines. Until then, this app cannot be recommended to blind users.

I think that being able to record a song of your own is amazing. I love playing the piano at home and at my music school.But the Yamaha app gives me the ability to record songs and also chose the kind of style that you want. I think the Yamaha app is super.And thank you for letting me write a review for you.

-The stream lights/guide lamps now indicate how to play the chords when you import scores in lead sheet format (only on the CSP Series, the CVP Series and the P-S500). -The difficulty of the song is now shown when you load a PDF score. -A feature for rating your performance has been added. -Other minor changes have been made.
