Your subscription will work across your devices and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the subscription period. The. BEST. Fitness. App

This app and the whole nobs programme is currently my best friend!
I’ve been recovering from an ED for a number of years and I honestly never thought I would be able to exercise ‘healthily’ again. I was nervous to return to the gym because I didn’t want it to be ED driven and purely because I hadn’t been in one for YEARS and gym anxiety is real!!🙃
BUT, nobs has given me the confidence to go back to the gym and I am actually loving going. The workouts I use (3x weekly) take me between 30-60 minutes and I love that you can choose whether or not to include the warm up they suggest or do your own. Every exercise is brilliantly explained and shown via video so you can actually feel confident in what you’re doing.
No calories are mentioned ANYWHERE which has to be my favourite feature of the app, along with the daily motivations and mantras.
I can feel that my strength has improved over the last 6 weeks and I am so excited to see what is to come.
Only fault I can find is that sometimes the app will ‘crash’, although this tends to be if your signal is a little dodgy and your progress on a workout is always saved so nothing is lost.
Can’t recommend this enough, such a reasonable price for such a brilliant service and I honestly don’t think I could have returned to the gym healthily without it. 💕

Great concept, some frustrating bugs

I love the concept of this and it’s so almost there but there are some persisting bugs that make it very difficult for me to use the app. I’ve tried hard to just ignore them as they don’t massively affect my use of the app but I get frustrated and repeatedly reset and redownload the app to see if they’ll reset. I’ve filed a couple reports and the team have always been responsive but have yet to fix the issues. I use the twice weekly, senior gyms program and the workout on the home page jumps about in numbers. Often shows week 2, workout -4 for example. When I finally decided to ignore it and do the workout form the home screen it was actually a workout from week 4. There was recent update that made the warm up a circuit. But I reset my programme again to see if it’d fix the week bug I described before and the warmups have gone back to one after the other and I can’t seem to make it go back. Lost count of the number of times I’ve deleted the app. I like the workouts and will continue to use as I’ve paid and support Lucy but I essentially can’t use it to track the programme so will jump in and out. Also can only see 7 weeks of workouts? I can’t really comment on the other parts of the app as I don’t use the recipes and only briefly look at the affirmations but from what I have seen they look good and seem to be working.

The only fitness app I’ve managed to stick with

First of all I love this app!! I have been a gym user for over 10 years. Before downloading this I was in a bit of a rut, I wasn’t enjoying exercise and struggled with body image related self-esteem. This is the only fitness app that I have ever downloaded and actually stuck to. I finally feel like I have found the perfect programme that incorporates my love of fitness and my hatred of diet culture. I love how there is no focus what so ever on your weight, tracking your food or what you look like! I feel excited and motivated to go to the gym, a lot less body conscious and it is all thanks to this app.

I like how you can change the order or the type of exercise to make the workout fit around you. Any time I have had an issue with the app, the NOBS team has been super quick to help out, which is a really nice personal touch that some other apps lack.

Only improvements I would like to see:
- a cool down feature like other reviewers have said
- an indication at week 7 of the senior programme that the reps are going to increase a lot!
- some milestone pop-ups or banners e.g ‘you are half way through the programme’ or ‘well-done you hit your highest number of reps’ to celebrate your achievements!
