I paid my Wet Leg concert ticket 4 months ago. Within a week of the event, I spent countless hours attempting to find my e-ticket supposedly available in this “brilliant” app, which claimed to store all tickets in one place! Imagine how shocking I was when I couldn’t even locate the event nor the venue, not to mention the ticket itself. What makes it even worse is the complete absence of any means for anyone to report the issue! I have no complaints for those who believe in digital tickets instead of physical ones, as long as you could develop a system that could handle this. The lesson I have learned from this disastrous incident is that in the foreseeable future, I won’t spend a penny on buying anything as long as it is engineered by AMG, or remotely related to it.

I downloaded this app because O2/Ticketmaster emailed AND texted me (despite me never opting in) saying the app was REQUIRED and that every person in my party must download it. Entirely untrue - my tickets were already available in Ticketmaster.The app then forces you to create an account and requests far more personal data than is necessary for entry: email addresses, full birthdays, addresses, and other details that are irrelevant to showing a ticket at a venue. This reads like a data-mining operation dressed up as a ticketing tool.This is not a minor annoyance - it’s a major privacy issue. The app’s behaviour appears to be excessive data collection and misleading communication about what is required to attend an event. I see no legitimate reason for most of the data fields they demand. I’ll be reporting this to the ICO under UK data protection rules. If you value your privacy (or just don’t want to download another unnecessary app) don’t be bullied into handing over extra personal data for no good reason.O2/Ticketmaster: stop misleading customers and mining us for data.

As so many others I had an email saying this app is your only entry. Downloaded it and had slight panic when it of course doesn’t work. Keeps saying the App needs an update, I’ve literally just downloaded it and there is no updates to get… Read reviews here and saw that many others have same experience and that you can just get the tickets through Ticketmaster where they’re bought anyways.. sigh… a ploy to get more people to download an app they don’t use that can harvest data… no thanks man. Excited for the concert tonight though!

So it appears to me that some dipsticks don’t know that you can decline o2 and partners requests to your information and cookies. Simply say do not allow. To all requests apart from the obviously needed ones. Then do not register with o2 but instead press do this later. Then go down to the tickets section and login with ticketmaster and look at that ! You have your tickets took me less than 2 minutes. Streamlined experience and looks to work perfectly.
