Was happy, now not so much

I have 5 AllPlay speakers set up on my network. After the initial setup confusions and issues, it has been working fine. Don’t like that I couldn’t play directly from iTunes, but I figured that out and had it working. Suddenly my music, that has played before, won’t play through the app anymore. I can get the radios to play and that is it. The app doesn’t recognise that I have any music on my device, even the playlists that are set up in the app won’t play. I was talked into Panasonic by a salesman at John Lewis a few years ago when I went in to buy Sonos. Really disappointed that I have to go back through and figure it out again, and the instructions and FAQs are of absolutely no assistance.

Disappointing, update, even more disappointing

I had great expectations with the Allplay system. I have a main unit and speakers in three other rooms and they do work together but intermittently. The whole system is bug ridden. On any given occasion one or more speakers will not connect. On one occasion the main unit lost all it's settings. The whole package is a great idea but poorly assembled. If I did not have such an extensive cd collection, I would probably opted for Sonos. Not sure if it would have been any better but this set up needs a major rethink. Poor.

And twelve months on after many updates, it is as bad as ever. Why the connectivity issues are yet to be resolved is a puzzle. One or more of the speakers disappears from the network and they are not simple to reconnect. I am astonished a manufacturer can make such a rubbish product.

DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS. June 2018

Such a simple premise but it just does not work. You would think the same products from the same manufacturer would work perfectly. But no, you can spend so much time setting this network up, only for it to fail again the very next time it is used. My wife simply refuses to use it due to the complexity of getting it all working. When it does it’s good to have the whole house filled with music but it is just too frustrating. Fit only for the bin.

Not so good

Just go the new download 4 July, now on my iPhone I can only play music on that is recorded on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and none of my previous issues have been resolved....not one. Do not buy this. It's gets a one star review because you can't give it less

Needs major work to improve the stability. The further speaker I have is no more than 20 feet and the connection is not up to much.
There must be better sys on the market, unfortunately am stuck with this one. Every single time I switch it on it tells me the connection has failed, but it hasn't. It needs far more work. One would of hope with the masses of negative feedback that Panasonic would contact ppl via these reviews. I have the same problems from my first review months ago plus many times my iPhone tells me no speakers connected but correctly my iPad tells me they are. Total waste of money.
