Panasonic Theater Remote 2012 4+

Was a little disappointed with the home cinema as it is very difficult to see what settings you have and even more difficult to change. It always involved getting down onto the floor looking at the small display. Panasonic should have all settings on a pop up bar (like the volume)but this app does just that but far better with good graphics, smooth control and very easy to use. This is the most useful app I have ever downloaded and it's free. A must for all Panasonic owners.
PS it also does away with all the annoying input searching and paging when changing from TV to Cable input.

But I felt I had to. I wonder if many of the negative reviews have made sure the remote device option in the network settings of the blu ray player itself was switched on. Once I did this it found the device no problem and works great. Big benefit is you can play with audio settings whilst watching a film to get the perfect sound (if you do it on the remote the tv will jump between the film and settings menu

Check though the remote device is on else the device won't be found!

Great app - I used this app for six months with my bluray player connected via wifi to my Virgin media router without any issues. Moved house and had to get BT Infinity and now the app only works if the blu ray is connected by Ethernet. Not a fault of the app but with the security settings on BT homehub 4.
