FAQ

Q: Prescription refills - can I order prescriptions on behalf of my children or elderly parents?
A: Yes, this feature is now available! Go to the Me tab and it should be self-explanatory to add a dependent.

Q: Will you work with my GP?
A: Yes. The Paydens app works with ALL NHS GP’s in England.

All your prescription requests will be sent to and approved by your own GP.

Q: If I already order my prescriptions directly with my GP, do I still need your app?
A: Yes, you can still order from your GP; the improvement is now that your pharmacy will tell you when your medication is ready to collect or be delivered, and resolve any issues on behalf of you with your GP.

You can also get free medication advice from the pharmacy with 24/7 in-app messaging. The app is also a smart medication reminder.

Q: What if my local pharmacy is not a Paydens Group pharmacy?
A: Any NHS pharmacy on the app are authorized to dispense your prescription medication. We recommend choosing the nearest Paydens pharmacy on the map that covers your area for delivery.

If you do not live near a Paydens pharmacy, you can download the Healthera app to search for your local pharmacy.

Q: Is my personal information safe?
A: Healthera has gone through rigorous assurance process with NHS Digital and NHS England and is GDPR compliant.

Courts Chemist Birchington

The staff at Courts are very friendly and helpful. They all seem to go that extra mile when dealing with customer's. Especially in this difficult times when we are all under pressure there is always a warm welcome and a willingness to do the best they can for all of us.
Every single member of the Team from Pharmacist to Counter Staff is to praised highly for their work and most of all given the thanks if the Community they serve

Poor service

Every time I go in the shop I have to wait, the new ordering app is awful, they never update the information to let us know the prescription is ready, I always have to phone which is defeating the object and then I have to wait when I get there. Long gone are the days when we had regular assistants at the shop, they seem to go through staff like water, it was nice in the old days when you were known and had a friendly face greeting you. Also my BIG complaint is the step and door to the place it does not adhere to disabled regulations I am disabled and use a trolley which makes it impossible for me to enter the shop if the door is closed which it mainly is, I complained and was told they were looking into it, i then I was then told it was impossible to change because it was a fire door, then how come other shops adhere to disabled regulations? Also I was told that pharmacies are entitled to give out free COVID test kits if you had a genuine hospital operation coming up I asked they knew nothing about such a rule and told me I had to pay £3.99 which is £2.00 more than it costs on line which is disgusting and yes you are entitled to free COVID kits if you have a genuine hospital operation coming up. The whole shop needs to get their act together, i am genuinely thinking of changing to Morrisons which is just as convenient.

Good but could be improved.

A convenient app which allows me to order prescriptions on line. It could be improved if it allowed me to nominate pharmacies other than Paydens Pharmacies because I could order prescriptions when I am away for longer periods instead of having to order a long time in advance of actually needing the pills so that I can take them with me. I would also prefer to be able to set a reorder date in the app. At the moment I can only alter the order reminder by contacting my surgery which is a waste of their time. At the moment reorder reminders are completely wrong! It would be much better if I could reset the reminders to the actual number of pills that I have.
