I don’t get their emails!!!
I don’t know what’s going on, but I get text messages saying they have sent me an email about the medication they are sending me. I don’t get emails from them! I’ve called them 3 times now about it but still no emails. It says on the internet site that the quickest way to contact them is via the app. I have no way of contacting them through the app as there isn’t the option there!! I have quite a bit of medication but only 2 tablets, which is the same medication, just different mg, is pouched. Apparently, the reason for this is because of the different quantities of different medications prescribed to me. They don’t tell you any of that in their information.
The only good thing about Pilltime is that I do get all my medication (as long as it’s approved by my doctor) unlike the pharmacy I used to use. That’s why I’ve given them 2 stars.
Disappointed.
I thought all my meds would be sorted for me, but I’ve still got to sort out some myself. IT’s having to sort out my meds for a fortnight that I thought would be done for me and that’s why I thought give Pilltime a go but not so. Will go back to my other Pharmacy. Also they keep sending me a reminder to order my meds when I’ve just received them.
Support says “Our App is unreliable, better to order via your surgery”
I had to read the support email twice to make sure I wasn’t misunderstanding it: I’d been in touch because my attempts to order my first batch of prescriptions through them kept failing. The email said:
“ Our app is not very reliable and is due to be replaced with a new version in August. We advise ordering through the NHS app or your surgery's online ordering system.”
That’s enough of an alarm bell for me - I re-registered with my old pharmacy.
The email also said:
“We advise ordering 14-18 days before the start date as we need to receive all prescriptions 10 days before; it takes around 5 days to process and pouch and then we aim to dispatch 5 days before the start date.”
That was another problem - many surgeries, mine included, won’t let you order repeat prescriptions that early. It sounds like the service, as well as the app, is a bit of a mess.
