Great in theory

Was really happy with both the device and app to begin with. In theory the new badge and points system is great, however since the update the app has been awful. It is so slow to load, data and points have both gone missing, and it constantly freezes and crashes. I really hope they get this fixed as what was once really great and fun is now frustrating. None of the fixes suggested on the FAQ page or by contacting customer support seem to have helped.

All data gone

Have had PitPat since 2015 and brought a second edition one for my other dog a few weeks ago as have always been happy with them.
BUT today after updating the app from 2.1.0 to 2.1.1 I went to record there data and like the previous post both my dogs data has totally disappeared and I can’t even add them again so just get a error message (E1702) coming up when I tell the app to save the data and work out exercise plan. So now the app is totally ruined and unusable.

UPDATE: Contacted customer support who were extremely helpful and informative. All I had to do to correct the problem was sign out from within the app and then as soon as I signed back in all the missing data was back.

Well done PitPat for such amazing customer support.

Latest update has affected the accuracy

I really liked the app and the PitPat device when we got them in October 2017. It tracked a range of activities well and later, when my dog underwent a big operation, helped me manage his exercise levels has he recovered. The recent updates have improved the app interface; however, the accuracy has gone. It under-reads a great deal. We’ve just come back from a 20 minute walk, I’ve logged 2000 steps on my Garmin but the PitPat saw it as a 5 minute walk for the dog. Hopefully the next update sorts this out. It’s a great idea and good fun to use but I can’t rate it highly at the moment.
