Sainsbury's Bank Insurance 4+

I downloaded the app so I could stop the automatic renewal on my policy. I had tried to ring them but they weren’t open and the recorded voice said to download the app. But the app doesn’t allow you to switch off the auto renewal. In fact it doesn’t seem to let you do anything and doesn’t tell you anything you don’t already know. You can sign up for their insurance online but you have phone them to stop it. Cynical.

How on Earth did this get released to the public? If you try to register, the Date of birth selector only includes December and goes back to 2005. I logged into look for my home insurance docs and was presented with car insurance page and a ‘technical error’. The list goes on. I work in web development and if I was responsible for this shoddy attempt, I’d be hung drawn and quartered.

Doesn’t exactly give you confidence in their insurance products does it?

Crazy complicated to get registered and find your policy all at the same time. Big stupidity is when you have to enter when you passed your test you have to scroll through pages and pages sometimes as much as 50yrs. You can’t just type it in. Why not a simple question. “How many years”
