Samsung Galaxy Fit (Gear Fit‪)‬ 4+

The app and watch works even though I have an iPhone. There is one feature which I know only works on Samsung which is quick reply but that is understandable.
However, one problem is the find my phone feature. It only gives me a normal notification and if my phone is silenced or on do not disturb it won’t work. Even if they are off I get a normal notification vibration and it does not repeatedly make the siren-like sound. It only makes the sound when my phone has the app open.
It also keeps disconnecting

Hi there, we are sorry for the issue. Please follow the instructions below if you are facing frequent disconnection issues:
1. Restart Bluetooth for 10-20 seconds from iPhone control center
2. Restart both of your devices
3. Turn on 'Background App Refresh' from Settings→ Galaxy Fit App

Having the same issue as the review from 8th Jan. I have an iPhone 7 and a galaxy fit e. Tried all of the solutions in the developer’s response, which provides no more help than simple google-able tips.
Which include 1) using the latest app version 2) reinstalling the app 3) connecting from the app without connecting Bluetooth first, though at this point I tried another way around as well.
Stuck on the pairing screen each time. The app recognises the wearable, spins a while trying to connect and just goes back to the initial screen. Very disappointing as I was excited about this present I received.

Update: I was able to connect my devices together by initially connecting my fit e to my mum’s Samsung. Then unpairing them. After that, I was able to connect to my iPhone 7 with no issues. I had this idea as to “wake up” the watch. Still quite disappointing none of the developers suggested this here or on the web.

Works well, handy little smart watch, simple with long battery life. Found that when using with iPhone you do not receive all notifications from phone (mainly texts), emails and other apps are ok. Tried multiple trouble shooting ideas, resetting, ensuring notifications are on, app preferences on the phone but nothing seems to work. But anyway, I am happy enough it does what I need it to!

Hi, we are very sorry for the troubling experience. Please try the following to resolve your notification issue:
1. First, enable the Galaxy Fit app to receive notifications to get iPhone notifications in the Gear device. (Galaxy Fit app → Notifications Receive notifications)
2. After that, go to iPhone Settings → Bluetooth→ Tap the ""I” icon next to the name of your Gear device and turn on the ""Share System Notifications"" option.
Note: If you don't see the ""System Notifications option” then:
a. Restart (Power Off) your Gear.
b. Tap Allow when you receive a message on your iPhone asking if you want your Gear to show notifications.
c. If you did not get the message, connect your Gear with iPhone and do step 2
3. For Messages, make sure ""Allow Notifications"" is on from iPhone Settings -> Notifications -> Messages. Also check if the Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners are on.
4. For any other app, repeat step 3.
