Alongside the wonderful update from Apple, Spark is here and ready with a cavalcade of new features:
– Interactive Widgets
Updated Widgets allow you to swiftly mark emails as done directly from your Home Screen, bypassing the app launch.
You can customize the action button to “Delete” or just remove it. Also, we’ve added customizable tabs so you can easily switch the email category within the widget.
– Additional App Intents/Shortcuts
We’ve added new shortcuts, including “Open Priority List”, “Email ‘I’m late’”, and more.
– iPadOS 17 Compatibility
For our iPad users: Now, you can easily drag and drop files directly onto the app icon in the Dock, and the email composer window will pop up with the pre-loaded attachments.

There’s no avoiding email—as much as we might wish otherwise—but Spark makes tackling an unruly inbox a whole lot more pleasant. The app is an immediate joy to use, thanks to a painless setup process and a sharp, clean layout. But Spark’s true value comes from its clever interface, flexible customisation and the way it bubbles important emails to the top while filtering out the noise. Inbox intimidation is now a thing of the past.
Great email app ... Could be the best personal assistant app

Please can you add functionality so that inbox subfolders may be created and managed using the app rather than only via the web platform.
Please can you add functionality in the next update such that different email accounts can be assigned different sounds in respect of their new message alerts.

I have tested this app out by using it in parallel with iOS mail and Gmail apps. I have now deleted the other two apps and Spark has replaced them as my sole email app. I am really very pleased with it.
It is a really smart app with slick functionality. For example swiping between different email signatures is a nice touch.
Clearly the calendar function is not the focus of this app's expertise but I wasn't expecting it to be. I have deactivated the calendar.
My go to is 24me app which is in the same league as Spark but focused on calendar, tasks and notes functionalities. In my opinion also the best at what it does on the market.
Spark is the best email app on the market at the moment for sure. If it merged with 24me/exceeded 24me in functionality then it would be by far the best (and I would wager only comprehensive) personal assistant app out there - and that I would pay money for.
Well done developers this is a good app. I hope you will take my suggestion under consideration for the future. I really think it has potential to be a great all in personal assistant app.
Great initially. But just too slow!
When I started using Spark I thought it was great. Refreshing and enjoyable user experience. Unfortunately I have now binned this app off as for me, as a heavy email user, the app has just become borderline unusable. Emails are slow to arrive, and ridiculously slow to load. I simply don't have the time or patience to wait 10 mins to read an email. The desktop app also has this really annoying thing where it wants to sync the database right as you need to quite the app, sometimes hindering restart or shut down times. It is also slow to receive and load emails too. So I have also binned the desktop app off as well. I reached out to the Readle team via email to ask them to fix the issues, as I really do like the interface and ideally I would have liked to continue using the app. But I had no response which indicates to me that they are not over bothered in fixing the problems. Updates comes through but they seem more interested in adding new features rather than fixing core issues to make the app actually work in a robust manner. It's just become extremely unproductive to use. I have moved back to Outlook as it exhibits none of the issues above and work flawlessly. Mail also works absolutely fine but I prefer Outlook. At this current point in time I could not recommend this app sadly.
