Business made simple

The SumUp App makes it simple to accept payments and manage your business. Use our free app together with a SumUp mobile card reader to get paid anywhere.

Our app also makes it easy to manage your item catalogue, build an online store, sell gift cards, issue invoices, send payment links, and set up QR codes. These tools are intuitive and involve no binding contracts – all you pay is a fixed fee per transaction. So whether you need a mobile POS solution or you’re looking for new ways to boost your business, we’ve got you covered.

Your customers can buy digital gift cards for any amount, and personalise them by picking from a range of designs. You can manage the balance of every gift card you sell within the SumUp App.

Latest Update

Woke up this morning to find the app has updated. Looks nicer, but ... the keypad buttons seem closer together, meaning accidentally pushing wrong button twice now, and I have only used it for 2 transactions. When trying to correct the mistype, the clear button has been changed to a backspace. Meaning more button pushes to clear the mistype. I preferred the ‘C’ button as it was faster.
Still, SumUp is still one of the best things to happen for our store. Fantastic payment offerings and service. Thank you SumUp team.

Iv been using the app & 2 card readers since November Never had any issues transactions are a breeze & work every time has made the queues go much fast with been able to pay by card & the my product section is brilliant the only down side that I have is stock control if a item goes out of stock there is no way to set stock limits so the button can’t be pressed on the app & discounts would be great instead of needing to type in the amount & for it not to show on the invoice they have received a discount as some offered we have is for 0 pound there is no way to discount it or set it up in my products with out needing to add a price so it’s currently set to 1p it would be great to add a discount option so product can be discounted by a % or £ off the items selected show the discount shows up on the invoice & not needing to have separate products of the same thing set up in my products

Cannot Edit a Created Invoice to Finish Later

App used to be little worse than using Sum Up directly in the web browser. However since the last update & the new layout it has now shamefully become the worst app for invoicing. Once you made an invoice you cannot go back & edit it, not even if you started one in drafts. Some of the invoices are so lengthy for me I usually come back to complete the rest but thanks to Sum Up now I have to change my platform, card reader & the software/App that I use for invoicing & payments. The web browser is not any better after the new layout. You spend all the time doing pricing for clients & create an invoice in the app & then login into your account via the web browser to edit & complete the remainder of the invoice (as that cannot be done in the app any longer) & bingo….. all the prices which you spent all the time on will revert back to zero’s for every item. What a utter load of BLX Sum Up has turned into. I supplied card readers to clients via my affiliates link but now I’ve stopped in my tracks.
