Taptap and the support team is incompetent! Made a transaction to a friend's momo account in Ghana. I entered the wrong name which didn't match the account, yet it went through🙄. The recipient was unable to have access to the funds as the name didn't match the account number. Network provider advised I request a reversal which I did through taptap. Fortunately network provider successfully reversed the money. And then taptap sends me a message that "unfortunately, reversal wasn't successful" . I call taptap support and they tell me it takes up to 15working days for a refund to reflect. Three days later I receive an email again from support@taptapsend that "despite several attempts they didn't manage to get positive feedback regarding the reversal ". When the network provider has clearly and successfully reversed it. I call taptap support this morning and they say they don't work directly with the network providers, they deal with "middlemen'' and so it's been reversed to the "middlemen" but the middlemen haven't provided it to taptap so I still can't get a refund. Is it my fault that your 'middlemen' aren't keeping you up to date or your 'middlemen' have got the reversal but is keeping it for himself/herself?

Best exchange app ever

I send money to Pakistan on day to day basis and had been using Remitly, Wise, Ace and western union. Someone recommended Taptap, I was a bit skeptic at first but after sending my first payment I realised they don’t charge any fee at all so I started checking rates on other apps before sending and to my surprise their rates are always better than Remitly and ace who charge £3 onwards. The app is extremely user friendly and their WhatsApp chat is quite quick and efficient. The only sad thing is that they don’t deal with SadaPay or Nayapay in Pakistan. I really hope they do in future. I myself being a banker have found Taptap so much better than all the other big giants in the market.
