10% Happier is specifically geared to newcomers and skeptics, like its founder—TV anchor and best-selling author Dan Harris—used to be. It uses straight talk and a sense of humor to help you focus on sleeping better, reducing stress, and boosting focus.
Meditation for beginners course.
I don’t like the way this course automatically and charges you in full after a free period without any further consultation within the period of the free trial.
To cancel and get your refund after 14 days is not a financially justifiable way of proceeding. As a result it has so annoyed me I have cancelled my subscription seeking a return of my £85. Until Apple sorts this practice out, I will withdraw my facility of paying because I’m feeling the whole activity is prone to fraudulent activity.
They should be asking as to whether they can take money from your iTunes account. A much more polite more likely successful route would be to have a click through to continue if the product was any good? Not to say I haven’t enjoyed some of the communication but if it is just a method of selling you more after taking £85 from your bank account then I think this should be changed so as not to ensnare the customer with Added stress and anxiety.

To the rookie meditator or non believer - Give this a go.
This is perfect if you’ve never really understood what meditation is or if you’re expectations have always been that it’s something beyond your reach. My brain has never been quiet and I kinda thought that meant meditation wasn’t for me. What this app very simply teaches you, is that you don’t necessarily need a quiet mind in order to meditate. Simply acknowledging that you are thinking is activating a different part of your brain and developing mindfulness. As a result, I highly recommend this app to anyone who overthinks and is doubtful they can meditate. I’ve only been doing it a short while and I’ve already found practical applications for it.
