TGI Fridays UK 17+

Lee was really helpful, my boys really enjoyed it and he made us laugh. He was very patient with us. The food was amazing, will definitely come back again. It’s expensive, but definitely worth the money. My 10 year old saw the Avengers poster on the wall and asked if he could buy it lol. Max was amazing too with the birthday song. Ellie was lovely, very helpful and helped me put the banners up and helped with my birthday cake. Emaleigh was amazing and really bubbly and friendly. Carli was really friendly too and helped me when Lee had to go. The chef Lee was really nice too. Haha, Tom’s glasses broke, but he was lovely and helped keep on top of the bar.

Attended TGI Friday at Lakeside for my daughters birthday. We was taken to our table and had our drinks order taken, this took around 10 minutes to arrive. My grandson tipped his drink all over the table so we rushed to the bathroom to get some tissue as no staff around but as it was a full glass it wasn’t enough. A member of staff walked past so we asked him, he came back with the smallest amount of tissue, handed it to us and walked away! No help, nothing. My daughter then found some more and I cleaned it up. We then waited another 10 minutes before someone came over and took our order. We had our mains and ordered desserts but they left the plates from the mains on the table. We asked for more refills but again this took absolutely ages to get. The waitress was moaning saying she had too many tables to wait on and that she was rushed off her feet! I don’t want to hear all of this on what was meant to be a day of celebration for my daughter. I have just got home and have noticed I have been overcharged!

10/10 waiter service, 1/10 food service.
Table booked for 6.30, we arrived on time. Met at the door and waiter’s customer service was excellent! Fully engaged with the child (5th birthday) asking if she had had a good day and giving her the job of following him and showing us to the table. So far, so good.
We ordered drinks, then food. In the meantime, the waiter brought a ‘balloon hat’ and balloons to the child. Other people that arrived after us were receiving their food. Our child’s food came out at around 7.40 (we hadn’t ordered starters) and we were told one of the adult meals wasn’t up to standard so was being re-done. We eventually received our food at 7.55pm. One of the party returned their food as it was cold - had clearly been standing around. It spoiled our meal, so disappointing. The kitchen clearly needs to be managed better as the restaurant wasn’t that busy.
We will definitely not be recommending or retuning to TGI Fridays!!
