Far worse experience than the old website
Just spent the last hour and a half picking my team, only to find that for some reason it didn't save. Missed the County Championship deadline now. A little gutted as I've always really enjoyed their fantasy cricket game. I can see how the introduction of the app is intended as a positive step, but the app feels far too fiddly to me. I miss the filtering options of the old website and it seems harder to view player information. Why can't you view the player list without selecting a squad slot? The Cricket Draft folks run a great game (hence my disappointment), so I feel bad for giving it a negative review, but I just we could have the old website version as an option too?
Getting better all the time
After a slightly dodgy start (you could tell they wanted to get a game out for the county championship season but the app wasn’t quite ready), the app is getting better and better every day. It’s already added so much to my enjoyment of the County Champ and I can’t wait to see what more is coming form The Cricket Draft.
Addictive!
Finally the team have brought out the app on the back of the website. The app is intuitive, clean and easy to navigate. I’ve just got the latest update too which make me think they are pretty good on responding to user feedback. Roll on the champs…
