Poor upgrade
Not as good with epaper as last version. App switches off after coming back to it, the page initially freezes, so have to go back to start then on again.

P&J App unnecessary changes
I recently installed the P&J app which made reading the daily paper much easier. On 30th March they have apparently made changes the app, which were presumably well-intended improvements, but actually make reading the e-paper much more difficult. Previously a double tap would have opened each article in a reading pane, now you have to scroll through and zoom in to read each article individually.
Editor please note the old adage ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’.
Hope the previous version of the app will be restored soon.

Awful
New app even worse than the old one. E-paper often isn’t online until after 0700 and then it is a case of zooming in and out to read a story as there is no longer a version where each story can be read individually. When you complain they simply say you don’t have a subscription! I don’t now, as I’ve cancelled it.
