The new app is not an improvement on the previous edition, which was intuitive and easy to use. Now it’s clunky and cluttered, parts of it are slow to load, and the layout with the new personal area is a mess. One of the most irritating features of the new app is that it doesn’t give departure times for the upcoming hour — that means you have to calculate it in your head. The old app gave both the departure time and how many minutes were left..the screenshots are from the old app, not the new one

I have been using the Translink Planner to plan my journeys to and from work. This week, I tried to use it to buy a ticket. I was not logged into the app, but even so, when I clicked “buy”, sure enough, £11 was taken from my bank through Apple Pay. But due to not being logged in, no ticket appeared in my basket. A customer service rep on the phone was not able to find my booking - because I was not logged into the app. There is no customer service at all within the app to solve problems like this. This app allows you to purchase tickets when you are logged in, but because you aren’t logged in, you won’t receive the ticket, and they won’t be able to find your booking because you weren’t logged in. So far I have been unable to get the money that was taken from my bank refunded to my card. I am really hoping this review will result in me getting aUseful response and my money back.

I've had a monthly subscription for the use of buses for years. Unfortunately, very often the schedules and updates of the buses are incorrect and waste time. Although I update the app every second to make sure the schedules are up to date, it happens many times that the app says that the bus is about to arrive in a few minutes and then while I am waiting at the stop, it is cancelled and I lose the opportunity to take another bus. Other times the opposite has happened, that is, when I arrive at the stop, the app removes the bus saying that it has already passed and instead after not even a minute that I left the stop, the bus that had been cancelled arrives. On a technological level, I think it's necessary to make updates for the app. The problem is not the delay of the buses, but inaccurate information and updates via app.

Tried for two days now to book tickets for myself and five friends, we’r traveling from Belfast grand central to Dublin airport June 8th.The App won’t let me choose a fare/ ticket price so I can’t proceed with my order. I thought my device my be the problem ( I was using my IPhone) so I tried my IPad and my laptop, then I asked my friends to try but they got the same response.I suppose I’ll just have to go back to the old fashion method and lift the phone to Translink.Oh and I must add when I tried to submit this review I was asked to provide a nickname so I used the word disappointed but was told that name was already used so tried “very disappointed but was told that was already used so I tried “very very disappointed” but once again I was told that was already used, I’m now going to try just one letter and see how I get on with that.
