Smart bulb (BC fit)
Bought this bulb ( single) to try out to see if it was worth investing in more.
The set up process was a bit hit and miss at first, but luckily enough I have enough IT knowledge to access my router and change the settings to only 2.4GHZ( it only works on this bandwidth, my router is dual bandwidth 5GHZ/2.4GHZ).
And to be honest it works fine, I work long hours so my house always looks like it’s empty, but now I can turn on my lights from 15 miles away.
Very happy with what it does, will invest in more bulbs etc.
Excellent value and customer support
Bought one from Poundland to see if was worth a try as so cheap. Had a few problems on setup and emailed Ultrabrite. Got a phone call back that very same afternoon. Excellent indeed. Turned out that the initial on/off routine needs to be done 5 or 6 times and not 3. That got the bulb flashing. Then setup was completed easily. Overall very good support and will be buying more of these bulbs as they don’t need a separate gateway such as required by Lidl bulbs. Also cheaper!
Not bad for the price
I bought a couple of these from Poundland and wasn’t expecting then to do much but surprisingly pleased. It did take a while to activate the WiFi on one of them but just had to keep switching on and off until it starts flashing. Now I can switch on my lights before I get through the door!
