The app is useful for checking which devices are connected to the network.
However the Speedtest function sadly does not work. It hasn’t worked since June 22. If you use the App Store to report a problem this doesn’t work as it says you have no matching purchases. I have reported problem to EE over Twitter but it makes no difference. Shame, it would be nice if the app worked fully.

I’ve tried this on my iPhone and iPad both running latest iOS versions as of Feb 24. Just says error when trying to connect. The router works fine in the sense you have a good internet connection, but unfortunately you have to have the app to fine control the device. When you login via a browser (there is no app for an iMac) it says you have to use the app to control. Seems like a lot of people are having this issue with the smart hub (installed Jan 24). Shame you can’t put the router into bridge mode as then I could use a 3rd party solution for network management.

Please don’t waste your time with this utterly pathetic app. It’s UI is awkward, the steps it asks you to follow are unclear and confusing, seeming to have little to do with my router model, and, in the end, it doesn’t work. Ultimately, it told me what I knew: ‘there may be a problem with your router’. Amazing. I clicked ‘troubleshoot’ and it hung on a white screen with a back arrow.

Whenever you’re flustered with a malfunctioning router the last thing you need is a garbage app wasting your time and adding to your frustration. One of the the worst apps I’ve encountered. Avoid.
