Requirements
You must have a United Utilities account number (if you are a new customer let us know here https://www.unitedutilities.com/my-account/moving-home/a-new-customer/) *
Compatible with iPhones and will require IOS version 10.0 or above
A WiFi , 3G or Edge connection is required

*you can report a leak without needing your account number

The App will ask your permission before some actions, such as calling us from the App and using your camera for meter reads.

Thanks for using our app. We're always looking at ways to improve your experience and our latest release includes small bug and security fixes. As an added bonus, if you are registered as a paperless customer on our MyAccount service at www.unitedutilities.com/myaccount you will be able to view your bills on the payment screen. Drains unblocked

Our drains were blocked they said they would attend by Friday today being Wednesday, they arrived same day. Traced the blocked drain 20 meters away 5 doors up the road. Two most friendly lads new their job explained it all to me and now I know the route my drains take.
Ring them first before anything else. Brill service.

Unable to provide online payment

For a fifth consecutive time (5 months) I’m trying to make my monthly payment online using my bank details but unsuccessfully.
I’ve been advised by customer service agent to reinstall the app and try again.
I’ve done that and continued trying to make a payment and still have to call them over and over again and pay through phone call.
Today the office is closed and I’m not able to make a payment on my due date.
Any suggestions how to solve the problem?

Has potential... but needs work

It’s a nice idea and makes for faster meter reading submission, but as others have pointed out, there is no TouchID/FaceID support integrated. Which given this is the back end of 2017 is pretty unacceptable to be honest.

The app could do with some serious refinements as well, with proper support for the iPhone X, and the ability to view more account information than just previous payments.

Off to a good start, but could be so, so much better with just a bit more effort.
