You must have a United Utilities account number (if you are a new customer let us know here https://www.unitedutilities.com/my-account/moving-home/a-new-customer/) *
Compatible with iPhones and will require IOS version 10.0 or above
A WiFi , 3G or Edge connection is required

*you can report a leak without needing your account number

The App will ask your permission before some actions, such as calling us from the App and using your camera for meter reads.

Never Had Any Problems Using This Fantastic

I truly have been able to Check our Account at anytime.
Never any problems with payments and has made life where at least payments are concerned fast hassle stress free. Very satisfied wish paying other bills with other providers would learn how to operate better systems same Thankyou P&J

Nothing short of a nightmare

I have been a customer of United Utilities for years, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. For over three years, I have been trying to resolve issues with my water bill to no avail. It all started when I discovered a leak on my property and was subsequently informed that my water usage was equivalent to that of a small hotel.

An engineer came out and found a problem with my meter, which was then replaced. Despite this, United Utilities continues to charge me over £5000. I have made numerous calls to customer service, but each time, I am met with a lack of resolution.

To make matters worse, they report a default on my credit score every month, further damaging my financial standing. Despite my repeated attempts to address the issue and set up a payment plan, there has been no progress. I am still faced with the same exorbitant bill and no clear path to resolution. This ongoing ordeal has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. United Utilities’ handling of this situation has been utterly unacceptable, and I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Malfunctions on the app

Up until last night, I was happy with the app; but not now! I paid my usual payment online using the app, but I got a box onscreen saying it had been declined for some reason, I then tried to make my payment again, not once, but three times, and unknown to me all four payments were going to be taken out of my bank. I’ve since got three of them cancelled at my bank, but I say you guys need to get the app sorted out and quick!

Since I put this review on here, I’ve now managed to get the situation sorted out.
I would like to ask though, as from next week, how can I make a payment then? Should I use the app, or, the phone? In short, will you have the app in full working order by Tuesday?

We were aware of an issue with the app a couple of days ago and we did take off the option to pay using the app whilst the problem was being fixed.
