Easy way to get money off your bills!

I am a partner of UW and my fiancée is a customer and we both love using the UW cashback card and app. We use it on all of our purchases, online and when we’re out and about, you can even use it at your local coffee shop. Anywhere really! The cashback which you can view on the app every time you use the card, all adds up and the savings we make on our monthly bills is great! I recommend it highly. It can be a case of getting ‘free broadband’ every month if you actively use it and add up the savings. The cashback comes off your UW bill automatically every month so it’s that simple and easy to lower your bills by using this to spend where you normally would anyways. 🙂

Can’t top up using app

Moved into my property approximately 6.5 weeks ago was told on the phone when registering that they have an app I could top up my gas and electricity from. I thought this was gonna be really easy and straightforward and the gentleman on the phone said I would only need to wait around 24 hours for my account to go live so I downloaded the app after registering my details with them and it would not let me register for weeks because it kept saying my date of birth did not match their records so I called them many times to explain this and every time they would repeat what I was told at the start “it takes a while for your account to go live” anyway - I finally got it sorted when I called last week and apparently they had put my date of birth as the secondary one opposed to the primary one so I waited 24 hours as instructed and finally got on only to find when I click energy it won’t even let me top up from my phone and if I want to top up online I have to use google chrome because it’s not even compatible with safari so I feel like it’s just been a complete waste of time and in the end instead of it being easy and straightforward it’s just made things more difficult.

U W Meter Reading After 24th April “Update”

Words fail me! This current iteration of the Utility Warehouse app is awful. I submit readings every month for Electricity, Gas and the Solar Power that we generate which is recorded on a Feed in Tariff Meter. The latest version of the “App” that was updated on 24th April 2024 fails to allow you to submit the Feed in Tariff Meter reading.
I tried to submit a Feed in Tariff reading on the main Utility Warehouse website via the internet this didn’t allow a reading to be submitted either. So no way to submit the reading via App or Web site!! What are we coming too!! Had to submit the reading via mobile in the end.
Does no one test an App before it’s updated and released! Does no one check that it’s component parts work? Does no one test the website?
What are UW paying their software developers for? This is the third negative review I have written for this App in as many years and on each occasion it’s because the App has been “updated”! Come on UW concentrate a little more on getting this app and your recording systems right and a little less on pressuring people to accept Smart Meters!
