What you need
• Be a Virgin TV customer
• An iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, running iOS 11 or later, with WiFi, 3G or 4G internet access
• Your My Virgin Media username and password
• To download shows, you need a Full House subscription or above

Watching Virgin TV Go on your device through a 3G/4G connection will use data and contribute to any monthly allowance set by your mobile network operator. Exceeding this could result in significant charges. For security reasons, and to protect the rights of our content partners, Virgin TV Go cannot be used on jailbroken devices, where unauthorised modifications have been made to the operating system.

It’s ok but I’m supposed to be able to connect 4 devices but only allowed two. And bit disappointed with complete series’s, to often I can only get some episodes of a series for example I can watch episode 1, 2, but then episode 3 wouldn’t be available to watch but episode 4 would be available, and it wouldn’t change. And also certain channels i can’t watch even though they are supposed to be available to watch, this would change a lot. And I think I should be allowed to watch all (well at least 70%) of my channels from my package. But now I can’t get channels to work at all. Keeps saying can’t play this channel at the moment. Been like that for 2 days now. Every Channel bar 3! What’s going on???
Generally pretty good
I have had this app from the beginning and I generally find it to be pretty good. Especially when we go away and stay in hotels.
So watching Bodyguard in Krakow was pretty cool.
We have the full sports package too but have found this much less reliable. It just seems to me that if Sky decide that Virgin customers shouldn’t be able to watch something, say the cricket for instance, then that is it and you get the death statement unable to stream at the present time!!. Virgin claim it’s not their fault and Sky disclaim all responsibility. Never gets resolved and I do feel a bit cheated that I have paid to watch sport on demand and on quite a few occasions it is just unavailable. Virgin you need to get your finger out here I feel as not everyone is as generous as me I think.
Was advised “problems with streaming “. and Virgin promised to get back to me. Waited and waited, then I rang back only to,be told it possibly would be sorted by 2am. Still nothing.
I’m house bound and rely on Virgin to keep me entertained. My bill this month was £98. Sorry, but I can’t afford to keep paying this sort of money for lack of service. It’s just not fair.
I look at offers made to new customers and they don’t have to pay anything near £98. Should I go to Sky? Or should Virgin apologise and fix the problems,?
Phoned several times but call centre (in India?) said the person who could sort it was on their lunch break but would get back to: me. I’m still waiting. I’m sure it’s a simple tweak as I can get other services but just not TV Control.
