Dangerous fault after upgrading iPhone to SE 2020

Since 2019 I have used the widex beyond app with my iPhone 6s and have had no major issues.

However I recently upgraded to a new iPhone SE 2020 and there is now a potentially dangerous fault.

Whenever someone calls me, I play a saved video or play a video on social media, the microphone level shoots up from the default 50 to 94 level with a very loud beep! There is no way to control it.

I have contacted Widex who never responded to my email. I have also contacted to Apple who were unable to give any advice or fix the issue.

This needs to be addressed as loud beep is very uncomfortable, much so I now need to have Bluetooth switched off.

I want to be able to control the volume at a low level when a video plays or my phone rings and not for it to shoot up to an uncomfortable level.

No twin pairing

Read another review that mentioned only being able to pair with phone or iPad. Seems that's the case, I found today. Paired with IPad but not streaming to phone. Yes cannot keep phone programs once the iPhone is switched off. Again, for £2500 for aids I think a better app should be available. The ads make it look something it's not.

Have no trouble with streaming to phone: switch on my (5s) and the program is there. Helps not to switch off phone. Calls to my phone are brilliant. I can choose to have speaker on so my wife can hear family call or she can use the phone as normal. Great. Aids streaming on my iPad so I'm not disturbing anyone else while I'm watching a video or streaming music.
Still finding the aids brilliant. Got into the habit of not switching phone off a night so aids are always there. A great improvement would be the facility to leave settings fixed rather than have an audiologist fix the default settings.

Was ok, but not now!

I have had Beyond 440 hearing aids for nearly 2 years now but since the latest iPhone software updates, iOS 13 & 13.1, I am getting a high pitch noise whenever I use my iPhone. For instance when I start to type a text message, or an email, or a message on Facebook Also when receiving an email I get the high pitch noise just after the new mail sound. These are just a few of the normal everyday things that are now at best annoying and can be painful on the ears!

Also the hearing aids sometimes keep disconnect and reconnect to the app again after an email is received etc and again I get a high pitch noise just after the ‘left ready, right ready’

I have turned off keyboard sounds but that doesn’t solve the problem. I have also deleted and re download the Beyond app but this didn’t solve the problem either.

Do any other users have this problem? If so have you found a solution?

For Widex - Can you please either solve this problem or let me know how to stop this noise as it’s hurting my ears. And after spending well over £2000 for them this is a problem I could well do without!
